Although VG Chartz isn’t 100% accurate, people on here, the Epic Games Forums, and many alike like to use this site. Halo 4 fell to 2nd place after a good run.
However, I don’t think it can ever be number 1 again. According to the site, it only has an increase of 15,000 weekly pre orders. BO2 has over 50,000.
Lets project the future for a second.
Lets multiply the number of weeks left and the amount of weekly pre orders for both top 2 games.
Halo 4 15,000 x 12 = 180,000 + 570,000 = a total of 750,000 pre orders. BO2 50,000 x 13 = 650,000 + 606,000 a total of 1,256,000 pre orders.
Now I know the amount of weekly pre orders will fluctuate, but this was just a mock test just to see what could be.
Are you Halo 4 fans a bit worried that, yet again, a CoD title is going to demolish sales records and potentially steal population from H4?
EDIT: This is ONLY Xbox 360 numbers. PS3 not included.
Well, let 1,256,000 poeple get the same game AGAIN and let them figure it out themself. When they get bored to play the same -Yoink- since 4 years ago, let them buy Halo 4 making it N° 1 most played on LIVE.
Anyways N° 2 is still very good and i couldn’t care less as long as Halo 4 is a good title.

Just for 360. Doesn’t really matter. CoD is still is the prime of it’s reign, so it’s not surprising that it’s #1. What does matter is what game will be awarded best of the year.

Well I wouldn’t say all that. BO2 looks like it’s going to be the best CoD yet. Look up some of the MP gameplay from Gamescom. Everything is pretty fresh including the graphics. Not to mention Zombies is getting a complete overhaul. A lot of people who HATE CoD are actually interested in this one.

This thread didn’t ask what you were buying. I was asking if you are annoyed/mad that it looks like it’s going to be another year where CoD steals the show despite Halo 4 returning with Master Chief.

This year is going to be good. Halo 4 vs Black Ops 2 vs MoH: Warfighter. I hope CoD wins since I’ve been a die hard fan since 2003. I wouldn’t be surprised if BO2 did win seeing the fact that MW3 won shooter of the year against Gears of War 3 and Battlefield 3

The better game is an opinion. Some would say H4, and some would say Black Ops 2. The only way to tell what game is better in certain aspects is to see what is being played the most, and for the past 3 years it’s been CoD.
Can we please just face this. Halo 4, no matter how good it is. Will never, ever, beat Black ops, or any other call of duty game. Call of duty is overrated, everyone thinks it’s Jesus. Halo is the underdog. People think its cool to hate on halo. Just like they think it’s cool to hate on battlefield. We know it’s not fair, we know that halo is better. But some day, some how, the COD series will be nothing but dust. We WILL come out on top. we WILL beat call of duty. But not now. Gibe it time.

I did exactly that. That’s why I said it’s not accurate. If you care about COD so much then why are at a Halo 4 forum? COD has won game of the year enough times, and Halo is returning with Chief. COD really needs to end.
I don’t want this to turn into a COD vs Halo thread. We don’t need anymore. So I’m reporting this thread, hope it gets locked.
