> Okay, I have heard many players on Halo 4 and YouTube comments talking about how Halo 4 isn’t the exact photo-replica of the classical Halo games."
Wow… just wow.
Are we actually getting to a place where the only Halo 4 defense is, “People just want an exact copy of Halo 3 again”?
I mean seriously, how often am I going to have to correct this?
Listen here OP, because once you have read my post, you no longer have any reason to type that nonsense again.
If people dislike Halo 4, or dislike features in Halo 4, that does not mean that they dislike it because it isn’t Halo 3 in a Halo 4 case. It doesn’t mean those people want the exact same game over and over.
It means they don’t like things about Halo 4.
> If you want the old, play the old. Not the new.
Since we are doing this - If you want Call of Duty, play Call of Duty.
(Your inevitable, predictable response) - “But Halo 4 isn’t Call of Duty, I don’t want Call of Duty”.
In the same way that we do not want Halo 3. We want a new Halo that genuinely innovates, while maintaining core game mechanics.
> Halo 4 is 343’s second game as a FPS, since Halo: Wars was a strategy game. Of course it borrowed some aspects from Call of Duty, like custom classes.
Saying “of course they did such and such” does nothing to refute the arguemtns against it.
If I said “of course there are trolls in the world”, that wouldn’t make trolling good.
> Okay, they did not have some of the gametypes like Assault, regular infection, VIP (Reach didn’t have that, either), and Race/Rally. But that doesn’t matter!
Your opinion. And the lack of gametypes are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what people dislike about Halo 4.
> Enjoy the game, and if you don’t like it, sell it or don’t play it. Simple as that.
Terrible (x20) way to argue against the idea of people voicing their concerns about Halo 4.
If people dislike the game, then they absolutely can sell it or not play it. But how does that conflict with their right to complain about the game?
It doesn’t
> I rest my case.
Saying “I rest my case” does nothing to add to the credibility of your arguments.
