I’m trying my hardest to enjoy this game. But armor abilities, perks and support packages are tearing at my love of the franchise.
After playing a few rounds of halo 4. I noticed that most of my deaths occur from guys camping with camo, cross mapping the whole entire game.
Then they get ordnance drops which adds more frustration. Wheres the skill gap?
No longer is the game about fighting for power weapons its about camping in one place racking up kills with camo and cross mapping till one’s ordnance arrives.
Multiplayer is becoming repetitive its. I’m not one for bashing 343i because its their first game.
But ordnance has no place and neither does armor abilities. I’m not competitive guy either I just look to have fun.
Playing the same 6 btb maps is not especially if its exile. But I digress, I just can’t understand why the game feels so cheap at times.
This isn’t a good bye thread lol. Its just me expressing my concerns.
I’m not trying to argue with you, but you don’t have to play Halo 4 you know. If you aren’t enjoying it as much as other people, play a different game that fits your playstyle.

Don’t waste your time TRYING to enjoy a game because its new and part of the franchise you love. I’ve loved halo from the start, and I still play H3 on a regular basis. Reach and Halo 4 hit the shelves to collect dust a month after I played them. Move on to a game that you enjoy, even if its old school.
Destiny will save us all.

I have to agree with this, even though I still play Halo 4 despite not liking many of Halo 4’s add-ins
Highlighting faults with Halo 4 is fine. It’s an opinion and is valid. But maybe it IS better to simply not play. At least for a while. Maybe check on the progress of updates from time to time.
The aggro caused by playing a game which you feel is severely flawed cannot be good for you.
Also, if enough people did this, it would send a stronger message than simply criticizing the flaws but still playing the game.
