Halo: Reach, Halo 4 and Halo 5 are all trash. Change my mind.

Taking inspiration from a game does not make the latter a good game.
Reach was divisive and can be argued to have been the game that lead to the cracks in the Halo community. For all its good, it divided fans on its story, lack of competitive rankings, armour abilities changing the Halo sandbox and more. Halo 4 merely chose to go further down the road Reach had started and closer to other popular FPS’s in the market at the time, solidifying the split in the fanbase.
I like Reach but one can dislike the game without disliking CE.

Bloom adds an element of chance into every encounter. Shoot faster and your probability of missing increases depending on range. A skilled player finds the correct balance of fire speed, with reasonable chance to hit. In theory a complete noob could out shoot a pro if the RNG gods were on his side. There’s many clips of pro players missing 4 or 5 shots in a row, because the speed they fire at typically yields an 80-90% hit chance, but sometimes dumb (bad)luck happens.
Armor lock. Enough said.
No bleed through, 3 shot beatdown doesn’t kill. Sprinting around going for double beatdowns is more effective in close range than using your gun. If they are too close for you to be able to get 4 shots, the best you can do is melee when they do and trade.

Halo 4 isnt Halo Reach 2. In my prespective it isnt since, there arent many toxic players on Halo 4 like on Halo Reach. Reach houses a good deal of the community’s most toxic players.

I see Halo 4 as a continuation of Halo Reach’s Style of Gameplay and being able to tell a good story on a personal level, whereas Reach did Large Scale storytelling and personal and did meh with the personal and good large scale. I haven’t dealt with any Toxic players in my years, you mean Clans/Assassination Tower People? Since I never play those it’s my only guess on who you are talking about.

Halo 4 does follow Reach’s formula, and it’s story focused on Chief and the Forerunners. Reach focused more on a team of Spartan-IIIs (With a S-II) and the full might of the Covenant.
