The game is awful simple as that. When I am able to compile a list of issues there is something seriously wrong.
And I even go easy on games when it comes to flaws.
Because the population is falling due to people not liking certain aspects, those aspects should be ignored and the population should be allowed to fall further.

I agree! All the 1-50 system did was promote boosters, and people spamming for a lvl 50 sale… It was way beyond annoying. I miss the good old days of Halo CE lan parties where there was no K/D or rank system. Fun is entirely subjective. Everyone’s definition is different.
The community has a right to criticize this game whether you agree with them or not. Most of what you listed should of been available right out of the box. 343 has a long way to go before I consider this game to be “improved”.

People can be quitting for many reasons, such as migrating to Call Of Duty. Don’t be surprised if the population drastically shrinks when Gears of War Judgement comes out. The days of Halo being number one are over, it’s sad how people can’t accept that. Don’t give me wrong, I’m addicted to Halo 4.
Halo CE is excellent. Halo 2 is pretty excellent. Halo 3 is meh. Halo Reach is bad. Halo 4 is atrocious.

CE was also skillful and didn’t hold your hand. That’s all I really want back.
Hell I would prefer it. I don’t mind getting my -Yoink- kicked as long as it’s not recorded on paper somewhere.

People dont think the game sucks if they find a “few” things wrong with a game, however Halo 4 has an entire list of problems that cannot be ignored. If people are leaving Halo for other games than that means Halo is not able to keep their attention for specific reasons which are directly related to the game itself.
Halo shouldn’t be on a downward spiral but it is and accepting one of my favorite franchises is failing is unacceptable. I criticize the game in hopes that it will improve.

I’m on team Halo 4 Is Great so don’t think I hate it.
You didn’t really give any reason that Halo 4 is awesome, you mostly said that it’s an amazing game even if the DMR is overpowered and that that added some playlists.
Like I said, I love Halo 4 and think it’s a great game but I can definitely see a few flaws. One being minor balancing issues (The DMR may be OP but not NEARLY as OP as people make it out to be). The only other major flaws I see are a few spawning issues, forge issues, and some match making problems.
Now let me tell you why Halo 4 is, in my opinion, I great game and a welcome addition to the franchise:

Forge may be missing fine editing but the additions are brilliant.

The new gametypes are great and work very well.

It evolved the franchise and wasn’t a copy/paste title.

Just one change…eliminate the recoil on the br or make it the good ol’ four shot it used to be. I know, I know balancing,(blah blah) but one or the other should happen to keep the dmr vs. br 1v1 battles interesting.

Halo 4 was the evolution of what is considered by a large part of the halo community as the worst halo game in the series. Reach. Add in custom classes, perks, and other little gimmicks like hit markers and flinch, and you got yourself a game that is just trying to become another generic fps game on the market.

The “Majority” is playing Halo 4. And a lot of others are forging maps, and testing them with their friends.
The only way you can claim a “majority” is on these threads which has become a favorite hangout for quitters who like to troll these threads in the hopes of snatching some sort of victory from their defeatist mentality.
