Halo 4 is Entrapment lololol

Honestly, if we all dislike how Halo 4 turned out, yes that includes me people. Then why don’t we ALL put the game down…and simply walk away from it?

I’m sure not everyone feels the same way about the game, but every time I log into these forums, I see thread after thread of bashing the current Halo game. You do realize MM on Halo 3 is STILL UP AND RUNNING!! just put Halo 4 down, go to 3…and the numbers will SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES, no more trouble of voicing your thoughts that WILL MOST LIKELY NEVER BE HEARD by a 343i employee…

By switching over to Halo 3 they’ll realize exactly what we want.

A new game isn’t all it’s made out to be, it’s the story and how it’s played that makes it. Now, how I feel about Halo 4 may not be shared with everyone, or even a few but I know how I’ll get my voice heard…Not playing Halo 4

Waiting for something magical to happen will not benefit you, the Halo Community, or me, so I’m taking my time elsewhere. Halo3

Ps. maybe play the best Campaigns Halo CE and Halo 2, hell…i’d even say 3!

The problem is not enough Halo players visit these forums. Most of the 6.9 million who already stopped playing just moved on to something else like Blops 2 or Far Cry 3. The 100k still playing are just fanboys who don’t want to accept that this is a dying franchise.

I haven’t been playing either, blops2 zombies and borderlands 2 are both waaaay better than this game.

Ive been playing borderlands 2, Both DLCs Equal almost 3gb of more material versus the 350 mb the map pack was

If stuff is fixed later in the month I may come back, but Ill be playing dead space 3 when it comes out, Halo 4 was fun at first but simply lost my attention

however the forums are still fun to be around :3

Not sure how it’s possible they moved to Black Ops 2…by the numbers you use, Blops has lost about 8 million players, with only 450K still playing being the fanboys who won’t accept it’s a dying franchise.

Blops 2 has over 700k playing at peak hours compared to Halo 4 having 100k. This is only peak hours. Then you know when Halo 4 only has like 20k at 2 am? That’s when Blops 2 still has over 300k. Then you have to factor in all the people who play zombies mode. The difference in these games is there are millions who still play Blops 2 but just at different times of the day and night. Halo 4 barely has 100k that still play period.

Again. Factually wrong. 100,000 people are playing it CURRENTLY. A good amount out of that 6.9 mil still play overall.

130K peak, not unique users.

Halo is still the 2nd most played game on Xbox. More so than Borderlands 2, Far Cry and the others you mentioned. Sorry that they hurt your widdle feelers by not reskinning Halo 2, but lying about the numbers doesn’t change them.

I know, it’s too bad. I want to like Halo 4, but I can’t. It’s just not Halo! I don’t want to return it though. I just probably won’t get Halo 5 or the next game that comes out. Doesn’t 343 see that no one plays Halo 4 any more? The first two weeks had more people sure, but now they are going back to play the better games. And that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. Going back to Reach or 3. Speaking of, is 343 even updating/managing Reach any more? In my opinion it sort of feels like Halo 4 didn’t even come out. I don’t know, but these are some strange times. I wish Halo would be finished. Reach should have been the last game. Or 3. It was the best series ever, and it could have stopped and been awesome. But like most good franchises, it spawned way too much merchandise, products, and things like Forward Unto Dawn.

Also SubChief is right. “Fanboys.”

Dying franchise? LOL

I love how people are saying millions play CoD but only 100,000 play Halo. Are these the same people playing Halo 4 all day long? Or could it be, just possibly that different people play at different times of the day?

gasp maybe a million people can be online at different times of the day!?

If they didn’t post the pop numbers for each playlist, there wouldn’t be a single argument claiming the franchise is DOOMED!

http://halocharts.com/2012/chart/dailypeakpopulation/all
notice the decline. I expect it to level out around 70,000. That’s peak population, all I’m saying is at halo’s peak it still has less than a third of the people I see on blops2. And this game is definately dying

I can’t believe that I put Reach back in tonight and played Anniversary Classic. Haven’t had that desire to play H4 as much as I did Reach.

I agree, I got friends that have been halo fans but never visited the Bungie nor 343 forums, after playing Halo 4 the first week, they gave up and moved on to better and more fun games.

I did asked them about if they were gonna play Halo 5 and 2 out of three said “don’t think so”.

It’s a NO, 100% for me. My halo experience ended with Bungie. I’m glad I didn’t bought the game.

The thing I find most interesting on this forum is when users who bash the game feel a compulsive desire to convince others who enjoy the game that it is objectively bad and no one likes it.

Lol I know, it has to be the only reason they come to the forums cause if they hate the game and don’t play it why are you still here? I like Halo 4 and only I can convince myself I don’t, so they need to stop with the fanboy crap.

Do you ever think before you press “Post” on these forums? Everything I’ve seen you post so far is complete rubbish.

That 100k still playing Halo 4 are actually enjoying the game, fanboys or not. Just because people like you don’t enjoy it doesn’t mean everyone else shouldn’t either. Blops 2 is the obvious answer when it comes to numbers, but only because EVERYONE buys it, mainly because its relatively simple to understand. Ask anyone you know with a PS3/Xbox and 90% will say they own the new CoD, its like tradition to buy every year. Farcry 3 has so few numbers playing multiplayer that I wouldn’t know it was a new(ish) game.

You should count yourself lucky, if more Halo players came onto the forums they’d make you look even more stupid than you do now.

I think a huge amount of the people are just waiting for the Jan update. Should that fail I think you’ll see another huge dent in the population.

I almost hope it does fail and Halo 4 completely dies, just so 343 would have to sort it out for H5 and make a proper Halo game that time.

If it’s a big success though, great. Hopefully they’ll learn from their mistakes and we’ll all have a game we enjoy until the next installment.

Far Cry 3 is a single player driven game is why.

And I guess more Halo players would come on these forums if they still existed but the population numbers say they don’t.

If Jan update is crap I think you will be dissappointed. The people playing now are playing cause they enjoy it and H5 will be better than 4 most likely rather or not H4 fails. I just hope they put in more playlist hopefully action sack and classic.
