Halo 4 is easy?

From the campaign demos and walkthroughs (especially the one of the level that looks similar to Quarantine Zone) does anyone else feel like the campaign looks a bit too easy?

I’m curious if it’s like this in the final game, or is just a dev kit for demonstrations, cause to me you can kill prometheans REALLY easily. They’re supposed to be more powerful than elites, forerunner, normal-is-the-new-heroic type stuff. From what I’ve seen it sure doesn’t look like it.

It was set to an easier difficulty so the devs could actually show off the game, a lot of game companies do that.

A lot better than setting it to the hardest difficulty and dying in the same spot over and over again. Don’t get to show off much that way.

Alright that’s what I suspected. So technically it was easier than easy difficulty? That’s reassuring.

I think it looks a lot harder, did you see when Frankie played that mision, his shields were being ripped apart and he used up 2 banshees with them being shredded to peices, and that was on normal difficulty.

I don’t think they would want to demo a regular run through with someone getting shot or killed.I personally am going to reserve judgment on the game’s difficulty until more people have played it. The level they showed at E3 was just for fans to see how the campaign looks, and even then, I’m sure they rehearsed what they were playing to ensure that it went smoothly

That isn’t hard, it’s just that Our buddy Frankie… Is just not very good at the game. (You can make a great game whether you’re good at it or not) You saw how many shots he missed? and poor weapon choices and lagged decision making skills.

DOn’t get me wrong this to me isn’t indicative of easy difficulty, Normal to me has always been a walk in the park on a nice day. I doubt Legendary will be any different, Cheap BULL ripping you apart just like always. (fond memories)

That definitely reminds me of Quarantine Zone… without the Flood.

It’d look easy if it was set on Easy. Higher difficulties than Easy could be quite a challenge. Campaign demo’s only make it look easy because of the “demo” and a difficulty that Developers can survive for testing, show and tell.

Demo builds are not representative of the final build. :slight_smile:

There’s not a video of that part, but it’s in the same level shown from e3.

Also if you haven’t noticed, a lot of the campaign showings have had invincibility enabled, which is why it probably seems like their running around killing everything and not dieing. It makes for better viewing then seeing death after death of a person getting pawned.
