Halo 4 has better campaign, better graphics (textures), more contents, and better maps. More importantly, Halo 4 had no nasty “Requisition”. I thought Halo 5 was going to be the best Halo. Since I played Halo 5, it provided a lot of disappointment in both campaign and multiplayer. I hoped 343 fills the disappointments with meaningful updates. However, the updates were meaningless and all of them emphasized NEW REQUISITIONS. Again this update we have it in early April, it emphasizes new REQs. If Halo 5 implemented REQs in a meaningful way and better customization, I might be find with REQ updates. But, is not. REQs are just ridiculous and trash qualities. 343 puts different skins on weapons and says here is new weapon variation. 343’s logic, if something has a different skin, it’s a variation of its original. WE DO NOT NEED ANY VARIATION. Also, they have inserted game modes that the Halo community demanded. But there is no permanent playlist for it. We had Doubles, Fiesta, Snipers, etc. in the weekend playlist and they are gone. 343 should add them permanently, tired of seeing only reason “to keep the population”. There should be playlists for Strongholds, CTF, Doubles, Fiesta, Assault, and Oddball. Hoping these to be added permanently, not just only playable in Custom Game. The last three updates are the only chances for 343.
I gotta say though I loved Halo 4 very much. I have less issues with it than I do with Halo 5.
I also agree I hate weapon/vehicle variants. I think 343 only made them to fill up the REQ system so it would take longer to complete their collection and therefore would be more likely to buy REQ packs.
"Halo 4 had no nasty “Requisition”"
You’re right, Halo 4 had ordinance, was was basically REQ Cards delivered right to your door step. That ruined all point of map control except for the odd Overshield. You didn’t even have to get a kill to get one, could just get Assists and Distractions and you’d eventually get there, and it carries over through death, unlike CoD’s kill/score streaks. The entire game stopped getting competitive in a heartbeat, because it comes based down to which Loadout you started with and which Ordinance you could get.
"Since I played Halo 5, it provided a lot of disappointment in both campaign and multiplayer"
That’s what people said about Halo 4’s campaign. And Halo Reach’s campaign.

Whenever we get a weekend playlist, people complain how they don’t like the gametype. So when people complain, they see less reason to bring it back.
Fiesta was debuted as a week long playlist, they’ve been saying it all week.
H4 was only better in maps and it had action sack, especially husky raid&
Halo 4 was much more friendly to the casual player like myself and I liked that. But I’ve overall enjoyed my Halo 5. I’d prefer better matchmaking so that I play people at my skill type more often, but thats always been a tough target to hit. I don’t get the anti REQ argument. I just don’t. We say we want more customization and when they give us more customization we complain. Typical.
Wow and that’s saying a lot since halo 4 was trash. But I will agree that it had an awesome campaign.
I agree in most ways. But H5 looks better, better gameplay, and has way better replayablity multiplayer wise. I dropped Halo 4’s mp really fast, like 1.5 months fast. I have been playing Halo 5 since Day 1, and plan to keep playing for awhile.
So basically Halo 4 is better in all ways but multiplayer… well, Halo 4 had better maps, so…
I hate to say. Halo 4 (especially in MCC) gives Halo 5 a bit of a run for it’s money to be honest… Especially since they got rid of ordnance and most matches don’t have armor abilities either… and the map selection is superb.
Halo 4 only excelled at its story in the single player campaign. The multiplayer was the worst of any Halo game, repeating the mistakes of Halo Reach and adding on to them in the worst ways possible.
Halo 4 was the WORST HALO GAME EVER MADE, there wasn’t a single redeeming quality about it, well cortana dying was pretty good, but then they went and -Yoinked!- that up in halo 5.
Well, it’s matter to me! I still playing Halo games!! Anyway!
Halo 4 was bad. I hated the Call of Duty styled multiplayer and the campaign was forgetable.

Bad doesn’t quite do it justice in my opinion.
Oops double post, my bad.
despite certain features of multiplayer, h4 did a lot better than h5. better UI (although not the best, that was reach), better campaign, better maps, better unlock system, more content at launch with more innovative gametypes etc

Regarding your point about content, it matters more about if the content is enjoyable, than the amount of it. Yes, Halo 4 did have more, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as Halo 5’s content, albeit it having less. It’s the same thing as deciding wether to ride 50 bad roller coasters, or 10 good ones.
At least the aiming in H4 felt smooth and was in changed
it also arguably had more content and better customisation options

Halo 4 was not a Call of Duty styled. Also the campaign was not the best and I never think it was well made, but it was much better than Halo 5’ campaign.

Yeah, if 343 fail last three updates, I might stay away from Halo 5. Just playing Halo 4.
