Well today I got my hands on halo 4 for 4 games at armageddon expo 2012 and it was amazing playing infinity slayer on Ragnarok it played great even with the luck based ordinance drops, I got to use pretty much every vehicle including the mantis which was just awesome to control. A lot of people got 30 kills plus with the mantis it can be brought down with ordinary weapons like the Br ar etc… but takes at least 4-6 people at once I got to try jet pack which isn’t as good as reach because of less fuel and I think doesn’t got as high but that’s good for somepeople bad for others. Beam rifle is good got a triple with it and a killing frenzy.
And thats’s my experience for halo 4 pre-launch! Also everything in-game was unlocked.

And my final concern about Armor Abilties breaking the game is vanished. I am so glad to hear this!

Also, some Euro Gaming pros were testing out Halo 4 and one them was using a Jetpack on Haven. You know the gaps on the top floor that lead to the middle? Well, this particular player fell off the map by choking hard and tried using the Jetpack.
Guess what happened? No he didn’t break the map or save his own life. He died. In Reach, he would have lived. The Jetpack was rightfully nerfed, even though i’d rather see it removed from Halo all together.

I agree with you, or they could’ve made thruster pack give some “extra kick” to your jump and remove Jet pack in general. But I’ll happily take the nerfed jetpack after Reach’s game breaker.

You know, that reminds me. When Thruster Pack was first seen and used at E3, some said it DID boost your jump. Perhaps they were talking about the air dashing? shrugs.
Also, Thruster Pack itself was massively nerfed from what it used to be when 343 was testing it. It started out as a teleporting AA but 343 realized how broken that would be and opted for a more balanced Evade instead.
i played it also at armaggedon. it was feaking amazing the new stuff. wow is all i gotta say. 343 did a mean job. i just brought a 74 inch tv. with hi deff cant wait
