After a mere 6 months, halo 4 is on it’s last legs, only the weapon tweaks can save it.
What is there to play for? Most people who play often capped at 130, and CSR is a joke so what is the point? Reach kept interest for years, so did h2/h3 with skill ranking
Just like the person above me said , this is getting ANNOYING!
Halo 4 is not dead, dead would imply that NO ONE is playing it anymore.
What else can you do in Halo 4? Simple.
1:Get to SR-130
2:Try to get CSR 50 in every playlist
3:Complete every commendations
4:Forge maps
5:Play and complete Spartan Ops Season 1
6:Play and complete the Campaign on Legendary Solo and Co-op
7:Try to complete the Campaign on LASO
8:Play Custom Games with friends
9:Stop crying about dumb things

H4 has more hope than those who give up and proclaim it is dead.

sorry but I think this game impossible to be funny

Sorry bro, 30k peak players is completely garbage for a Halo game. Halo: Reach didn’t go below 100k peak players until Halo 4 came out.
Halo 4 is a very crippled Halo game, between the terrible maps, default sprint, no descope, flinch, infinity (see what I did there?) amounts of randomness in most playlists aside from Rumble Pro/Doubles Pro and Team Throwdown.
I remember when Halo was about getting on and proving that you were better than other people. None of this “play for commendations” or “go get your SR130” cause you know what? None of that matters. The majority of the population that plays this game consistently is already SR130 and commendations have NEVER meant anything. It just means you play your game.
We have a crippled ranking system that requires you to lose your immersion in the game to check your rank on an outside source.
Yes, we’re getting weapon balancing, but the BR will still have abominable spread, and among other things, there won’t be the population to support this game for much longer.
Halo 4 has had the absolute shortest lifespan out of any previous Halo game. That is undeniable.
I feel as though hothead is spot on. I hardly play Halo anymore. I feel immensely frustrated at it’s current state and I don’t believe they will do anything to alleviate how alienated many fans of the original trilogy feel in this game. The only time I enjoy this game, is playing casually with friends from time to time. I can hardly play more than 3 games on my own. It feels so watered down, and has lost it’s competitive edge in my eyes.

There you go. Getting to 130 is not something that you “go for”, it gets accomplished by itself. I don’t care about commendations at all. When I played H3, I played for two reasons: One, I loved the game and two, I wanted to get better and raise my highest skill number. THAT was worth working for. It kept me playing for hours every week.
I like H4, but I just can’t take CSR seriously like I did my rank in H3.

I agree that these posts get old. Halo is not dead, but it is dying. At the very least, the online population is, and that is what provides longevity for many people. I think Halo 5 will truly be the tipping point for the series. It has been going down in popularity since Reach, and Halo 4 is possibly the most polarizing thus far. Personally, whether or not I buy the next generation x-box depends solely on Halo 5. As it is right now, I don’t have faith in 343.
