Halo 4 is one of the easiest games to rank up ever. its been about 40 days since halo 4 has come out and people are already max rank. I am a 78 and i hardly even play online. Halo reach has been out for how long now and i haven’t even hit inheritor. So in my opinion 343 should reset everyone down a little. Don’t make it nearly as hard as halo reach but make it so we need more xp to rank up. By reset i mean reset us to the rank we would be at with the new rank system.
E.X. So if you get to level 50 you should need a total of 5,000,000 or something, i don’t know how much credit i have earned but i am almost to top rank. I just want it to take longer to rank up.
And i know the skilled rank is coming soon, but what about those who don’t really care about skill rank like me. What are all those top rank people going to do if they don’t care about skilled rank?
Some people don’t have enough time to play. It takes quite a while to max rank, imo. I like the pace of progressing through levels right now. I think everything should be kept as is.
I would much rather have this than the ridiculous time it took to reach inheritor. And keep in mind that there a number of commendations to work towards even after you’ve hit max rank.
Those who are at 130 still play because they like the game. I dont support a rank reset and i dont ever see that happening. Some gamers are able to play more than others but i dont see how its far to change everyones rank simply because some players are either high school students who cant play untill the evening or college students who are busy in December with exams.

dude there are no ranks in Halo 4. SR is just like reach, nothing but a timer of time played win or lose. Essentially a worthless participation trophy that means nothing.
I like the fast-progress through the ranks so I can do other stuff with my time. Keep in mind that even if you max rank, you can go for achievements, Commendations, unlocking everything in the game, forging maps, playing custom games and future Spartan Ops episodes, and just having fun. That should keep you busy and keep in mind that there are other video-games you can play and other things in life you can do as well as future Halo titles.
I hit 130 about two weeks ago. Before that, I had already seen two 130s. It is stupidly easy to rank up and I’ll bet that they introduce a prestige system, kind of like how Gears 3 went.
Pretty stupid how it took me one month to hit max rank in Halo 4, yet it took a minimum of like a year and a half to hit max rank for people in Reach.

Exactly. I just hate that I spent so much time leveling up.
