Halo 4 is $39.99 within a month of release!!!

I’m one of a growing number of people who believe the price of this game reflects it’s in-game value. I’ve read a few threads from this site and that alone makes me not want to buy this game for $20.00.

I don’t think there is any way of saving this game except for 343 actually caring about their customers. The first few waves of updates have been to fix the playability of the game! Not to enhance the experience of the loyal fans that have built up for years; they make updates for this to even work. I’ve watched video game expos where new games from new developers are shown and presented. I’m fairly certain those guys tested their games more than 343 tested the most anticipated game of the year.

In conclusion I’m disappointed with the way 343 has continued this franchise and pray that someone from Bungie comes in there and hands you your collective butts!

So this is an opinion based on other people’s opinions. The game is out atleast try the game before saying it sucks.

lol, don’t you know what time of the year it is? They lower the price so more people will get it as a gift.

I think its because of a X-mas or boxing day sale since many stores lower prices on video games during those.

I used to think like you, but no halo has dropped its price as fast as gears 3 did and maybe you know how well that game ended up… Dead after 6 months.

Frankie said on Ne0Gaf that the price drop was a promotional thing with certain retailers. I would find the post, but I’m too lazy right now.

If you base a big part of your decision to buy this game over posts here, you will be deceived my friend.

Yet almost as many people as Halo Reach play it. What do you mean by dead?

Holiday sales and aggressive pricing. It’s a great way to boost sales of what is Microsoft’s only worthwhile exclusive.

I’m still happy with paying full price. I’ve definately got my moneys worth with this game.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is also $40.00 right now, so i do hope your opinion is the same for that game too.

Either a “Christmas sale” as others put it, or they are having a hard time selling the game.

I saw BLOPS 2 and Hitman Absolution for 40$. Halo 4 wasn’t the only game that go its price lowered.

Its Christmas -.- They’re not having trouble selling Halo. Look at Black ops 2, its also 40 bucks.

Yeah, it’s like there is some event going on that is making retailers lower prices to try and entice customers into their stores.

I just wish I knew what that event was. I bet it’s great.

Gears of war 3 is a really good game. i still play all 3 of them
