If you have played Section 8 Prejudice or if you have seen StarHawk then you would notice the re spawn options. In both of the games you can come down from the sky/orbit and land on other players. I was thinking that it would be cool if there was a gametype for the next halo games. Bungie could use this idea for their next games. For halo it would be cool if you would play original invasion as ODST and Elites. I think it would be awesome if your playing as an ODST and you can spawn in a drop pod. You will land somewhat fast. If you land on someone they will die. Once you land and if some one is in closely in front of your pod while you exit they will die. They will die due to your pods door opening and flying out. The pods could be destructible. They can be shot down from the air by weapon fire. You would have to take a lot of damage to be killed while falling. If you do die in the air, you would explode and parts of the pod would scatter. I also think that once they land they can be used as cover. But they can take damage and they would eventually catch fire/smoke and explode. Yes I have taken some inspiration from Goats thread and other games. Please do not go around saying I am copying. I am taking responsibility of any previous confusion. Please be nice and give some feedback! oh and dont troll or flame. And if you have any questions please state what you would like to be answered and or why you are confused about something. I know this is MOST LIKELY not going to be in Halo 4. Its just an idea. This is NOT a fact. So please -Yoink!- get your hopes up for this in halo 4. (this isnt cannon to halo 4’s plot)

Forget the Bungie part. I was just saying that bungie could use a game mechanic like this in one of their new games. To be honest I still love bungie and I will still play their games. Overall this is just for all this Idea is for Halo 4. Please give positive feedback.
I see what you’re getting at and, just so you know, A LOT of people wanted this in Reach, but in Firefight (I think). I’m not a fan of either firefight nor invasion so actually don’t care if it’s in or not but why not? I bet a lot of people will enjoy it.
About the Bungie part… 343 Industries are making the Halo games from now on. Not Bungie. They moved on to bigger and better things (lol, not really. Halo <3)
