Ok, I for one am getting a little bit sick of this secrecy. I mean, a little bit secrecy is fine with me, but 343 is overdoing it at this point. Does anyone have any idea of when 343 will FINALLY release some new intel? Or are they just gonna sit on this untill one day before release?
There is a rumor that we are getting information on Halo 4 on February 29. But that’s just speculation, nothing is confirmed.
Dude, just chill. Your life does not have to be consumed by the wait for Halo 4 info. Go read a book or play Halo. Just let 343i make the game.
P.S. There is rumored to be some real info at X12 which runs from Feb. 29 through Mar. 5 but I am skeptical after that whole VGA incident.

If I am correct, 343 actually said there would not be a trailer on the VGA’s. So, we kind of got our hopes up for no reason. We shouldn’t blame 343,they said there would be nothing.

Yes but they also haven’t confirmed to be at X12. I’m going to not be expecting anything. But I do hope to be pleasantly surprised.

I believe that 343i may be making a serious mistake in not releasing some intel on H4. Many of my on-line co-players have expressed concern that the reason for this is that the game may not be up to the standard we expect for the Halo franchise. It would be both sad and frustrating should this occur, as it may result in the loss of fans and an exodus people who have enjoyed playing and have engaged themselves in the Halo Universe for so may years. I certainly hope this does not occur, but with so little intel on the upcoming title I am beginning to fear the worst. Even small snippets are better than what we have been given thus far.

People need to relax, the game is 8ish months away. Plus, I’d rather know less, I think it hypes up the game even more.
It’s just kinda weird how quiet 343 is being about H4. They surely won’t release it later than September, so the open beta will happen by two months before that. About July. So the hype machine should get up and running around May or June. It’s almost March, there’s about 3 months left to reveal info about the game before Microsoft starts full advertising for the game, and we hardly know anything yet aside from a bit about the campaign story. We don’t know what we will be fighting, we have zero details about the multiplayer. We don’t even know a definate release date, just holiday 2012. Are my estimates off? Am I just impatient? Or are they being really secretive about the game?

Also, can we have some debating of the issue, or constructive critisism at least, if you dissagree? You know, instead of ironically whining about other people’s whining? Lol. Anyway, it’s an honest question. Why are they being so secretive at 7(?) months before release.
Once again the maturity of this community shows itself. Someone dares to ask for information on Halo 4, a game that will make or break the franchise and really show how competent 343 Indsutries is at making games, yet all people seem to hear is whining. Really now? I hear a plea from a fan who just wants to know just what to expect from Halo 4. Sure there is a rumor that we will be getting something soon, but the sheer wait to get to this point was rather disheartening. A CGI trailer that we’ve been told doesn’t really reflect the beginning of the game, concept art and constant times that the employees at 343 brag about how awesome their game is without backing it up…seems like a -Yoink- move to me.
I’m willing to give 343 a chance, but this is a two-way street. They have to meet me half-way here.
