Because the map data for SOps and multiplayer are too big to fit on the disc with campaign, 343i didn’t want you to have to switch discs to play campaign so it loads all .map data on to your HDD or Flash Drive.
It also vastly reduces the load time of games.
So I can play campain and everything from disc 2? ensted of switching to disk 1?
No, it’s the other way around.
Once you have installed the maps using disc 2, you can use disc 1 to play everything.
no dwnload from ds 2 onto HDD then take it out pop it ds 1 and play every thing
okay i downloaded it, it says “the content is installed please enter halo 4 play disk now” i put in halo 1 and it only has campaign and stuff but not multiplayer
