I’ve installed Halo 4 the same way I installed all the other games, but it is showing as not installed inside MCC. The “missing content” popup just comes up when you try to select it in multiplayer or campaign. I’ve tried deleting the data folder for halo 4 and even unselecting it in the DLC in the Steam options for MCC, then redownloading and installing all 20GB of it. Same result. Any ideas?
For anyone who reads this thread in the future, the issue was that having any language selected besides English was the problem. However, it is fine now and works in Japanese as I had intended.
Same here! I am so mad, i waited for this game so long, i tried installing it 6 times from MCC Launcher, and 3 times from Steam DLC manager (helped with Reach…)
whats wrong with halo 4? Not everyone seem to have this issue.
I’m having the same issue, I’ve tried to reinstall the game, unflaged the campaing/multiplayer several times, even ran the Windows scan in attempt to find any error, but still the same message.
Double check your language settings.
tldr: Dev oversight passed a flight bug onto live version where game can be set to another language in game, and if you dont have the language pack installed via steam, it wont work.
