I personally think that halo 4 will have some information being released today on the xplay show thing at 6:30 pst
Positives:
On xplays twitter post, it mentions something ‘big’ premiers tonight. (If your thinking Borderlands 2, he mentioned seeing that tonight on the tweet before so that cancels the ‘suprise’)
Its January 17th… 1/17/12…1/17…117…masterchief jesus christ
The london toy fair is next week showcasing the characters and vehicles, They would need to at least announce these things in a trailer first before showcasing toys. Its only logical.
This would be our first actual premiere event before e3. Personally the superbowl would be far to expensive for 343.
-Its been over 6 months, come on
Negatives:
They said in their update that information would be coming “in the coming months”, unless they are just saying that to avoid giving away when it might be shown to us.
They would have at least mentioned something to us, they cant just pop something out of the blue, unless they know it might get overhyped.
I hope that we are going to see something. It would not make sense to show new info through toys, and I doubt they’ll just show a Warthog, Cortana and Master Chief on toy fair. Also, it’s the 18th for me. But still, chances are 50% if you ask me.
Also, the title is kinda misleading. I mean, it’s no big deal, but it would be more precise if you would put “Possible Halo 4 information coming”. But yeah, I doubt anybody will have a problem with it.

I don’t know about where you live, but where I live it’s the 18th.
> 343 and Halo are owned by Microsoft. They can afford the superbowl.
that topic has been debated a lot, and doesn’t matter the reasons I am giving as to why it may not be at the super bowl, when it comes to funds, I always feel that Microsoft has enough money to spare for a Halo 4 Super bowl ad.
Okay, where to begin. Today is the 18th, not the 17th. All of the big things that X-Play was talking about was their change to adding half stars to their reviews, instead of the simple 5 star scoring. The only big reveal was who was posing as the live action Lilith from Borderlands and they showed off their review for The Old Republic. That’s it, no Halo.
If there was going to be any new Halo info, we’d probably hear from 343 first about, or at least a confirmation for it.
343i is not going to let any real debuts start via a 3rd party they are not in control of. The only avenue this would have happened was the VGAs. Some tv show is not going to get a first look or first new details to break the silence since the concept art trailer.
half of the kids at my school don’t believe me when I say there is going to be a new trilogy and halo 4 lol. So i think a superbowl ad can get that message out there.
You do know that the Xplay tweet surprise was actually borderlands 2, right? The episode already passed. I don’t know where you live, but in North america, it’s the 18th.

> Not to mention they have a history of hyping Halo at the Super Bowl.
> Starry Night trailer anyone?

> Just wondering: when is the Super Bowl? I’m Dutch and “Football” is something nobody remotely cares about here, unless its the ‘real’ football.
The Halo 3 Starry Night ad came on during Monday Night Football in early December. I know this because I remember it, but here’s a link.
