halo 4 infinity multiplayer

Why is the halo 4 multiplayer have to be about the infinity why cant it just be normal multiplayer. For me it dose not make any sense the ship has to do with campaign and somehow you are on it in multiplayer,and it also the infinity crashes in the campaign.If anyone has any info on this subject please comment

It’s the concept of tying all aspects of the game together. I’m of the opinion that this isn’t necessary, but it makes sense from a “universe” perspective. Why would people be able to “respawn” in multiplayer in the Halo universe? If the multiplayer is “War Games” then it makes sense. Do you need to know that to enjoy multiplayer? No. But it’s what 343 is doing to bring all aspects of the game “into” the Halo universe. That’s their sense and I don’t begrudge that.

Spartan Ops takes place 6 months after the events of Halo 4. Since Spartan ops takes place on the infinity, that basically confirms that the infinity as a ship survives the events of Halo 4. Thats why it makes sense that war games happens on it.

^ What he said, basically. I love that they’re tying it all into the fiction. As more of a fiction fan, it pleases me to feel that when I’m playing MP, it has a greater purpose. Like, it’s important. If you’re not really keen on it then that’s fine 'cause it’s not intrusive on your experience.

And regarding the ship having crashed. The Infinity MP picks up following the events of Campaign. I’m guessing it gets airborne by then.

Dont you mean what “She” said Im lady. But I agree everything matters now ! So that will greatly add to the replay value I never had a problem with Halo replay value though since my entire friends list loves halo pretty much xD
