Halo 4 In-Game Sound Not Working

Using an HDMI cable, other games have been played and in-game sound works just fine as does Xbox 360’s sounds. My disc’s in-game sound worked a up until today and I hadn’t noticed before, but there is a ring imprinted onto the bottom of the disc that appears to have come with the game. Does anyone else have this ring? My boyfriend admitted to moving the 360 while it was playing Halo 4 and a friend of mine says that the ring sounds like a scratch to him. (He hasn’t seen it.) Should we try the toothpaste trick or is anyone else having this issue?

Thanks!

A perfect circle on the bottom of the disk means the disk was scratched while it was spinning inside the 360. Moving the 360 with a disk spinning inside WILL scratch it, but he’s lucky the sound was all thats affected.

A ring scratch? Ouch… Those are the worst. All I can say is good luck. I don’t really have a solution for you. Call MS if possible.

Ouch, I was afraid of that. Alright, thanks guys! Think GameStop will let us return it?
