Why do you people care about this review? It’ll be the most biased review this year! Halo 4 will score 9/10 or higher regardless of how good it is. The only reason they got early access is because they agreed to give it a high score for early review rights. And with all this exclusive map overviews and other videos do you really think they’ll score it low?
They won’t. If IGN wants the same treatment for halo 5 they’ll give it no lower than 9.

Some bias? Of course, but Halo 4 is actually a very good game, I doubt even the unbiased would give it less than a 9.
Hell, they had a lot of bias and strong opinions on ACIII but still gave it only a 8.5

Indeed. It’s not worth staying up all night for.
I think the entire game review industry is just a marketing machine for game developers. Only small, independent reviewers who receive no compensation and do their reviews for free are worth taking into account imo.

I hate when people say “only a 8.5” or so on. To me, that’s like getting a solid A on a test. Above exceptional. 5 is average. 9.5 or so forth better have little to any flaws.

I say ‘only’ because I was expecting a higher score. I play AC here and there and so far I find it better than the previous two filler titles.
IGN is terrible 
Remember when they said the Halo 4 box art was a rip off of the logo artwork for the Dark Knight Returns? Yeah, that was just because they felt lonely and did it just for publicity.

Oh? So you played an extensive amount of Halo 4 then. You must have because you think it’s a good game.
Game journalism is a joke and IGN prove that time and time again, they used to get exclusive COD videos and would always give it high scores, now that they don’t anymore It’s been named one of the top 5 worst games shown at E3. Halo 4 may be good but not because IGN says so, It’s because your brain told you so.
