Me and my friends enjoy making halo machinemas in halo reach and we were looking forward to making them in halo 4 but while playing with forge in halo 4 I noticed that their was no Human vehicle (only the Covenant banshee) available, like Falcon in Reach or the Hornet in Halo 3, despite you spend most of a mission in halo 4 flying a pelican. I was wondering was there a specific reason for this because I think if you were to bring back the Falcon from halo reach n maybe combine it with the hornet from halo 3 to make a more up to date light transport vehicle to provide a match for the banshee and for the people who like to make machinemas allow for passenger to ride in the vehicle and for position switching (from passenger to turret) this will make halo 4 a more rounded game, that caters to more players.
I see no reason not to add the Pelican into the maps, not for matchmaking but custom I don’t see why not. Yes they will have to tweak it so people can sit on side turrets and/or get a ride in the back. But most of it is there.
I would love to see something like the Hornet/Falcon back in as it made a lot of custom game modes really fun. And they were just a generally fun vehicle. Who knows, maybe they thought the Pelican is too big for any of the maps in the game already, hopefully we get some bigger maps like Sandtrap / Sandbox with access to more vehicles.
Agreed. Halo 4’s Forge is a watered-down and lacklustre effort. Hopefully a bigger forging space can be included in an upcoming DLC (like Sandtrap/Sandpit in Halo 3) along with a better range of vehicles. Maybe even some extra weapons.

I will think 343 s range holding out on a vehicle for later maps and DLC… I hope this is true

Because it’s too big, over powered and would lag like a mother fluffa!
I’d love to see the Pelican in MP, but it won’t happen, the big levels aren’t big enough really.
I just want the Falcon back really, hated the Hornet but I feel they got it right with the falcon…only to then remove it, good one 343.
