Halo 4 defiantly has a lot more attention then cod does and i am glad it does… I know a lot of you will say does it matter but to some of us it does. Me being the old halo fanboy in the my old school finally has bragging rights over cod fanboys. Halo 4 is taking its throne back this holiday

And then Halo got crushed. 
But this really looks good this time around. The game should be awesome, and with a mindblowing marketing Campaign, which is already pretty mindblowing, Halo might get the throne back.
But it ain’t even that important, but I still have to be happy about it. xD

And where’s your evidence for this? Have you played the multiplayer in online matchmaking yet?
It’s already at a million pre-orders? damn. As for the game in general… high hopes are being put into this game, by millions of fans.
New developer, New composer… the list goes on.
Multiplayer looks incredible and the campaign seems to remind me of the the first halo mixed with a bit of the exploration of halo 2, which is a good thing given the insane linearity of halo 3 and reach.
I’m excited. And I hope 343 delivers.

Great to hear we’ve hit the million mark. Pre-order rates will only increase from now. I really think it’s possible that we can beat Black Ops on Xbox, which has been my hope since E3. Come on, guys. Spread the word. Every pre-order counts.

Perks, sprint, armour abilities, press x to respawn, random weapon drops, customizable speed/jump height/health, no competitive playlists, poor ranking system, loadouts, overpowered assault rifle, 5 shot br, un-user friendly sniper, one shot kill Promethean sniper…
Stop blindly hyping up a game which is not Halo as far as multiplayer goes.
All of these have been confirmed.
I could go on, any of these will make a dent on the games quality alone, now add them up and the game will be dreadful.
What is this? COD in space?
Bungie almost killed Halo with Reach. Removing Halo traditions and style and replacing it with all this cod-esque gimmicky nonsense is just going to ruin the game.
343 should have stuck with what works not go down the same path reach walked…

Seriously people? sad how we live in a generation where every shooter must be automatically compared to COD.
Shows the low standards that people must go by in order for a game to be good or at least “considered” the COD killer (not to mention a rip-off). There is no such thing. Halo 4 is the way it is because people don’t have the same tastes as they used to. Even the most blinded of Halo fans can see it.
People want gaming to evolve. Not take 3 steps back and one sem’ish step forward. Gaming in 10 years wont be the same… and its either going to take a couple of stupid hipsters to make that change or those striving for gaming to move forward.
We will always be allowed to play old games like halo CE or maybe Halo 2. But whats wrong with something a bit fresh?

Fresh? Unbalancing gameplay, adding perks, reducing the skill gap, and dumbing down the games is not ‘fresh.’
Halo has always added new things, in the trilogy, every game done something mind blowing. Adding in some armour abilities and perks is just…wrong.
i believe this game will be great… I have only been let down once and it was halo reach. Master Chief is back and i am loving everything i am hearing :). Its halo’s come back year.

Thats what I thought in my first two weeks of reach…
Sorry to burst you bubble but Black Ops is the number 1 per ordered game in gamestop history.
I am not. CoD fanboy just putting that out there.
Also my local bestbuy and GameStop are not even haveing midnight launches… :,(
