Halo 4 HUD changes

This is really minor, but I know it will annoy me if it’s not there. In the other previous halo games the secondary weapon was displayed above the primary weapon in the HUD. This doesn’t appear to be the case in Halo 4. I know it’s so minor but my OCD will kick in and it will irritate me for a while.
Does anyone know if it is present in newer builds of halo 4?

I believe Frankie said that was fixed.

Relax

I’m still wondering why they took a step back and went back to the Halo 3 HUD for the shield, despite the fact that the one for Reach was superior. Well I have one theory that’s not really pleasant to mention…

I prefer the Halo 3 design. If there’s not going to be health packs, there’s no reason to show your health. It recharges no matter what.

You could say the same for Halo: CE to Halo 2. One reason they may have done so is to give the HUD a cleaner, less cluttered appearance. It depends on what you think is superior. Showing Health or having a less displays on the HUD.

Also the lack of health display on the HUD means no health packs on the maps. Which means they can focus on providing a better well thought out map rather than dedicating resources (mostly time) deciding where Health packs should factor in around maps.

No, since they’re removing health (a bad decision in my opinion) they wouldn’t need o show something that doesn’t exist. I’m talking about how the bar depletes when recieving damage.

I’m pretty sure we still have health, just not visible.

And yeah, Reach’s shield/health indicator was superior to others to me. Health was important and it was good to know how much you had, plus I liked how the shield bar drained from both sides and drained instantly. In Halo 4 the way it drains slowly makes me wonder exactly how much damage I got from things like grenades (obviously I haven’t played it but just from looking at it).
