Question: How come we only get one helmet that Master Chief wore in the Halo games? For example, the Mark 6 is the only one we can unlock. Why isn’t his Halo 4 helmet not in multiplayer? Can someone help me out here? 343i explain please.

The Master Chief helmet from Halo 3 was the only one they could fit on due to disk space.
As for the Chief helmet, why would Spartan IVs be wearing outdated tech, even the Mark 6 helmet was pushing it.
Its Master Chief man, why would you not want to wear his helmet from the Halo 4 campaign. I mean there are other helmets from Halo 3 and Reach that are coming back and they are outdated. It would make sense to be able to use the Main Characters helmet in both Campaign and Multi. Just saying.

The great thing about tech these days is that it can be updated rather cheaply. Why cant the UNSC update the combat firmware in thier helmets?

sigh Go “bulletin-surfing” and you’ll find BS Angel confirm that Cortana redesigned his software AND armor. Matter of fact, pick up a Halo book, read consistently, and you’ll learn something about nanobot tech used during cryo. I’m way too tired of explaining this stuff to post links right now.

The MJOLNIR Mark V is way outdated as we know and Master Chief’s Mark VI has been upgraded by Cortana and is unique, he is the only Spartan who wears it.

Since multiplayer is now canon now. It wouldn’t make sense if we had thousands of Spartans running around with Master Chief’s unique personal armour.
Ahhh I understand now guys. I am grateful that at least the Mark 6 is in the multiplayer. The whole idea of having Chiefs personal unique armor only usable by him makes the Single Player that much more special Thank you all for your responses!
PS. I did not know that Cortana upgraded Chief’s hardware and software while he was in cryo. Good to know.
