I’m dreading the day that I get to see what Halo 4’s gameplay looks like… but at the same time I do want to see it. I’m stuck in a pickle.

Firstly, there will be no heat during and following the release of Halo Glasslands. (obvious)

The same counts for Halo CEA.

There will be Halo 4 related coverage in both these products, something they would not want to overshadow with early public releases of trailers, vidocs and alike.

I think they’ll wait a while before the start “turning up the heat” on Halo 4. In the wake of the remake they’ll probably be more interested in talking Reach, specifically the new maps, because the new maps are designed to help extend the life of Reach. I hope the fact that Anniversary has already gone Gold and that it will continure to sell many copies through teh holiday season will keep enough interest on Reach to bring out one last map pack before Halo 4 arrives.

A comment more focused on the “Heat” of Halo 4.

I imagine we wont see anything to big involving Halo 4 until the spring. You want to increase the hype at the right time, peak interest and then ride teh wave through too the release. The trailer was a drop in the water. The discussions at Halo Fest were a drip in the water. I don’t think they are ready to make waves.

What’s the next “big” gaming event after Anniversary? I want to say VGAs but I dont have a clue.

well halo 4 is still in deep development so even after cea is out of the way it will still be awhile b4 we see anything real

I’m hoping for a story trailer with a few “Campaign” clips that don’t give off any real spoilers.

I hope Microsoft hypes up Halo 4 to the heavens.

I LOVE video game hype, I actually believe that the hype (when very strong) is more fun than when the actual game is out :3

I doubt that if it is released after E3 2012 we will still start seeing thing soon

To me it’s like this if I see AAs or bloom in a gameplay footage I’m not buying the game but if it looks amazing and doesn’t have those I’ll pre order the most expensive thing I can but I would like to see features gameplay possible maps maybe
