60 dollars is a good deal for Triton Style Headsets, so possibly.

Does anybody know if it’s 7.1? I’d heard a rumor that this was a 7.1 headset, but the price and the specs listed don’t seem to back that up (unless I’ve missed something). Does anybody have any confirmation about this, as I have a 5.1 Razer headset and was wondering how this would compare to it.
That’s actually the WIRED Halo 4 headset that would match the limited edition controller. Frank had showed us the WIRELESS 7.1 headset that matches the console. Frankie had confirmed that there would be TWO headsets at comic con.

Alot of people see $60 and say… no way. However if you think about it. $60 is actually a good price. Its only $40 more than a standard xbox live headset and look at all the features it has.
For everyone else that thinks this is the 7.1 surround sound headset, sad to say, it is not. However, the 7.1 surround sound Warhead halo 4 eddition headset is going to be over $300. Not worth it. For half that price you could go to best buy and get a better surround system, and then everyone in your familly can enjoy it.
For $100 more you can buy the Halo 4 console, and you get so much more for your money

60 bucks is a lot less than I thought it would be, but still not getting it. If you already have a good headset it’s not worth buying another.
I think it’s a really good alternative for those who want a headset but don’t have the money for a more expensive one. Although we able to make a judgement on its sound quality, it still looks like it may appeal to many due to its low price.
