So I’ve been thinking about this for some time and I realized a Halo game hasn’t had a 1v1 playlist since Halo 2 (pretty sure H3 didn’t have one) and I was wondering if this is something people other than myself miss. I wasn’t the best 1v1 player but it was a nice alternative to team games, and honestly I think Rumble Pit is like 75% luck when it comes to who wins and loses. Anyway, I hope Halo 4 at least tries a 1v1 playlist to see if it’s popular with the community and don’t just dismiss it completely. I just want it to have a fair shot.
I remember this being talked about sometime ago. I think there was boosting issues mention as one reason not to have it.

This. It was in Halo 3, but taken out for the reasons stated above.
It would be fun, but that’s what Customs are for.
The maps seem rather large for 1v1 matches… I believe haven and adrift are both classified as small maps
