So while I was searching for images of the series 2 Halo 4 line up of figures I came across these.

They have the 343 and the liquid development tags as well who did the armor for Halo 4 apparently, I’m not sure if these images have been posted in the past so sorry in advanced if I am bringing something back up that has already been discussed but I just came across them now and thought Id share, what do you all think? I honestly like the armor set, never minded it back in Halo 3 either but I never wore it, would have been a nice addition to the game none the less and I’m sure if it had code or whatever term you would use existing on the actual game disk that it could maybe be added as DLC (unlikely though.) The images could also just be fan art but its nice to imagine what could have been if we had more armor.

Hayabusa made me cringe every time I saw it. I hated and still do hate that armor with a passion. The helmet looked like someone threw a pie or something else…wink wink at his face and it froze in pace there.
Team Ninja, the creators of the Dead or Alive series, struck a deal with Bungie for Halo 3 to have the Hayabusa helmet in the game, as long as Team Ninja could have Master Chief in their game (Dead or Alive 4).
Before Halo 4’s launch, many were asking about the Hayabusa armour being in Halo 4, and I remember reading that a deal was supposed to happen between 343 Industries & Team Ninja for the same reasons, but it sadly never happened.
Hayabusa was planned to be in Halo 4 at one point, but it never made the cut.

I remember the hole thing with Team Ninja and Bungie making that deal and I assumed it must have been the same thing here as well but no deal was able to be made between 343 and Team Ninja before the games release.
That’s a cool find! And yeah, I’d rock that set! I loved the Hayabusa Armor in H3 and I’d be proud to wear it again if it ever was released as DLC. That’s too bad if it’s true that 343 couldn’t strike a deal in time with Team Ninja.
If that’s the case, then perhaps the Wet work armor was made to be its spiritual successor? I like Wet Works— think the armor fills that role of “Ninja” pretty well—but, I’m always down with more anime style sets! lol I admit though—ever since I unlocked the Protector Armor…I can’t bring myself to wear anything else. Man, I love that set!

The only thing i would wear from that are the legs.

Wouldn’t count on it, as far as we know, Halo 4 is exactly like Halo 3 & Reach for Armour DLC, you need to update all the .map files to add new armour, which results in a huge title update.
Not likely to happen

I LOVED the armor! I remember it was supposed to be some super secret armor and Bungie was VERY proud of themselves for hiding how to get it. Until, that is, hacked opened up the disk and told everyone how to get it. 
That’s probably why they were such -Yoinks!- about the Recon armor. Nerd power trip stuff

Ya it would have been super hard to get thats why they should make it dlc and have us do like the 7 vidmasters again but Halo 4 style
I enjoyed using that Armor. Too bad it’s not in Halo 4.
I liked that armor in Halo 3 too! I can understand the dislike, but still. It looked cool.

Yeah but free dlc. It’s ARMOR. It’s not like it’s tough to make when you crank out so much.
Strangely, it almost has a Forerunner tinge to it, especially round the shoulders.

I do NOT want to see everyone and their brother wearing that filthy armor set! It’s like the situation with fedoras nowadays. It would be cool if it wasn’t worn by every single socially awkward teenager.
I wasn’t a big fan of the armor in H3 but this design for H4 is pretty good, in fact I like it a lot.
