Halo 4 hate Why?

So it’s pretty obvious a lot of people Dislike Halo 4 which personally i love it.
So what i wanna know is why do u people put Hate on Halo 4, I’ve heard this statement a lot: “Halo 4 is s**t, Halo Reach is much better” ok then whys that?
Do u people have a reason, or do u just say that because everyone else does, or u don’t like change, if u don’t like change well sorry ur not gonna like Halo 5 Guardians then, ur loss.
So really tell me why do u people hate Halo 4?

I honestly don’t know. Personally, I LOVED Halo 4. People don’t like it because it’s 343 Industries, Not Bungie. People just don’t like change.Face it, Bungie has moved on. To be honest, I love 343 more than Bungie. (Yeah, I just said that!) I can’t believe 343 is handling all the hate and pressure people are throwing at them. Normally, if that happened to a company, they would just shut down. Same thing happened to Scott Cathown, Creater of Five Nights at Freddys, was about to quit the gaming industry all together because of all the hate he was getting. Did he quit? No. He used the hate against the haters and thus, Five Nights at Freddys was born. All in All, people, give 343 a chance. They are listening to the fans, not the haters. They gave us Halo 4, Halo CE Anniversity, and The Master Chief Collection! What else can we ask for!?

It was just a change of what people are used too. When change happens (company switch) Some will like it, some won’t. Some new people will come aboard, and some old people will leave. The question is: How many new people do we get, and how many old people do we lose?

Agreed with most of that, But seriously if u guys want bungie theres a game called Destiny it’s the newest release by bungie don’t know if u heard about it. Oh and in breaking news Bungie will not be coming back to Halo 343i owns the franchise now. If u people can’t handle change then u people will have a big shock in the next few years.

I love the multiplayer and the campaign in Halo 4, though I feel that Loadouts were an unnecessary change. Everyone should spawn exactly the same, that’s how Halo is. Other than that, I can only think of good things about Halo 4. Definitely one of the best games last generation. Halo 5 looks promising so far, and hating 343 will never yield positive results.

People hate change, and they end up making crappy excuses if they don’t like the game (with the exception if the person gives a good reason to hate)

Alright, let’s flip your question around a bit. Halo 4, (by the population numbers) had the least longevity of any Halo game ever released. It was completely abandoned by the e-sports community and the general population didn’t last much longer than a year. I have a whole laundry list of reasons why I didn’t like Halo 4. But I’m interested to hear why you think Halo 4 failed to retain any of the initial population it had at launch?

Like i said i love the game easily my fav game to play and takes up most my time on Xbox, I don’t know why people don’t like it thats why i am asking, is it because it was a bit different to other halo games or other reasons?

I personally like the custom loudest, i like been able to choose what i spawn with. and without custom loadouts armour abilities are harder to use, in reach we had the option of armour abilities but only some of them cause there were and still are more armour abilities then there are load out slots i prefer been able to change what i spawn with.

I agree with you. The loadouts were unncessary change. It just makes the gameplay unbalanced.

Well if u think about it not really a AR can beat an BR if the person who is using the AR knows what there doing and vice versa just depends on what people know how to use and what they like using which is why i liked it so much.

When I first started playing Halo 4, I was super skeptical, but I loved it. Story line, graphics, the whole shebang. Then I delved into the multiplayer… this is where it got tough for me. There were just some simple mechanics that were different from Halo 3. The timing on the melee, just little nitpicking things. Eventually I adjusted. Its just not Halo 3, and it took a while for me to be ok with that. And after some time, I’ve come to love it as it is. Its easy to find things to hate on about something.

As far as MP goes, my only complaint is towards the aesthetics of the armor. Spartans just seem to be lacking in the armor department this time around, like it’s just not big and bulky enough for me. Everything else is pretty fun though, action sack playlists keep things mixed up when I’m bored and SWAT’s always fun to jump into. The story line was pretty meh for me though, I still haven’t finished it because it fails to capture my interest in the way past Halos have done. It would’ve been nicer to see a new main character too since I felt the Chief had a nice ending in Halo 3. (The return of the Arbiter would’ve been pretty wicked.)

I personally don’t like Bulky armour Halo 4 armour was perfect for me i mean i could change my look to be really thin or really bulky depending on the armour i put on but thats just me. But the return of the Arbiter that looks like Halo 5 for me.

I enjoyed halo 4 and its a shame that the halo veterans dropped it because it was different and quickly deemed un competitive. Which begs the question of what it meant to be competitive? By my understandings it means to want to win, so any change should not matter over all because it still remained fair. As for load outs, I found it refreshing to pick a weapon I want in the situation that I am given. If anything it gave me a competitive edge over people who only use a br and strafe. But again I got by butt kicked by my own tactics, something the halo games are known for. If felt like halo overall, but wasssss, off somehow. I still prefer halo 3

I love it, I don’t see the problem with it.

I love this game and can’t wait for 5 to come out. Reach was okay for a while but it’s sorta old news and there’s nothing more I can really do on that game.
People are just throwing a hissy fit over the new company, they’ll calm down soon enough. Like feeding little kids vegetables, it’s good but they just don’t see it.

No De-soping, loadouts and PoD’s. Apart from that it was great.

De scoping was a major annoyance for me, de-scoping would cost me most of my kills that i could have got, which is why i like halo 4 cause there was no de-scoping and i hope in halo 5 there is an option that de-scoping was an option especially if we’re going into ads aka smart scope.

just google why people hate halo 4. These topics are pointless, people who like halo 4 always think to know why people hate halo 4.
