It pains me when I read peoples posts that are clearly unintelligent in terms of talking about the kill times in Halo.
Halo 4 has very slow kill times, and by adding stupid things to the mix such as sprint and armor abilities that break the sandbox such as Jet Pack cause the kill times to be even slower.
The DMR in Halo 4 has a 1.4 second kill time, which is in fact very slow for Halo. So slow in fact that it is the reason why sprint is the problem that it is, because you cant kill them in time before they sprint away around a corner.
Here are some other killtimes to give you an idea of how slow Halo 4 killtimes are (note: there is a big difference in kill time in only .1 seconds, for example the H4 DMR has a .2 faster killtime than the H4 BR and can shoot 6 shots by the time the BR can shoot 5)
> Sorry but I don´t like kill like CoD, on one second.
Sorry but you must’ve not been around the classic Halo days.
See the difference between CoD and Halo is that in Halo I need to land multiple shots and finish with a headshot (or several body shots) using precision aiming whereas in CoD you spray. What I liked though was being able to kill someone FAST with precision aiming, like in Halo CE and 2.

Why compare 4’s DMR to the CE Pistol? When, it isn’t even relevant. (CE had no online, at least for Xbox. Not to mention i’m pretty sure CE’s pistol wasn’t meant to be so damn amazing.)
And again, why compare it to Halo 2 which was a rough draft for online multi. Yeah, it worked, but has way too much assist and other shenanigans.
Also, just for the sake of actual comparison, should add 3’s BR kill time and Reach’s DMR kill time.

Halo CE had XBC so there were still many multiplayer games as well as a ton of tournaments. Halo 4 has nearly as much aim assist and bullet magnetism as Halo 2.
To be honest I didnt put Halo 3 BR and Halo Reach DMR because I only remember the other ones by pure memory but I do remember that both are faster than the H4 BR and possibly equal to the H4 DMR (not sure on that one)

You must be new to the Halo series if you think Halo 4 kill times are fast.
