Not only the DLC but some armors that cannot be obtained though normal means nor DLC like the FOTUS or Locus.

Ok my thing is I want to have the same armor across all of the halo games I play which is the Locus armor but I already have the Halo 4 standard digital edition. So if I buy the game of the year disk I’ll achieve my goal, correct?

The same thing applies to the Elite Officer armor in Reach. Get the limited edition and you have both the Officer armor and some armor pieces that include a special variant of Recon.
