I was actually considering getting getting halo 4 GOTE for the codes, but have the codes for exclusive stuff expired already? Or is it just on a disk. Any help is welcome
Halo 4 game of the year? GOTY comes with a redeemable code on a card inside the game case it’s not DLC on a disc like you mentioned, it will be stored on your Xbox account like any other DLC once redeemed they should still be valid to use my Legendary Edition code worked for Halo Reach in 2020 October!
A lot… if not all legacy Halo DLC codes must be redeemed on a Xbox console (360,One,Series) or the older Xbox app with “Redeem a code” function also works but codes no longer work at Microsoft.com/redeem it says something along the lines to follow the games instructions that came with your code… boot up a Xbox console and redeem on there instead it will work as long you’re code is unused.
Game came out in 2012. Assuming codes are valid for at least 10 years, they should still be good.

Had a friend recently who received a valid FOTUS code for Halo 4 from a friend who never used it. Still works. I’d say go for it.
