I mean, this may even qualify as a criminal action. Never have I seen such a pathetic attempt at artificially lowering a Metacritic score. What do you think?

I never even heard of that site until now. So I’m really starting to believe these lesser known sites are just crapping out bad reviews for a popular game to bring in extra hits to their site.
That isn’t a game review site. That’s a hipster gaming blog that no one has heard of that is trolling 343 to get publicity. The fact that it’s on Metacritic is a testament to how much people want Halo 4 to fail. Personally, nothing they say is going to stop this monster from owning the market fro a few weeks.
I’d ignore that site.
In the internet, there is a corner which you must never go to… that was it.

That was one of the worst reviews I have ever read.
Just ignore it. It is only some failed reviewer attempt to get some hits to his website, that nobody cares about.

OT: I agree with most of the points the review makes. After watching a lot of the multiplayer gameplay, I’m pretty disappointed with the few mechanics that 343 decided to leave in.
I love the way he started the review: “The Mammoth is glorious.”
To be honest thats really just some male/female playing a game and writing a review about the game; they aren’t any different than any one of us that play games all the time, we all play a game and have an opinion about how we would rate the game. So all in all its just another person’s opinion on a game/series that they probably no longer like and they feel comfortable about giving such a poor review to it. So take it with a grain of salt as you would with any ‘user review’; after all most of the other reviews are extremely positive.
It’s not going to stop me from playing and having an awesome time.

I wouldn’t take this site personally. They don’t know how to “review” games at all. It’s not well known for a reason.
Metacritic always has -Yoink!- like people lowering scores.

I read the review. It looks very unprofessional, written by highschool grade kid.
It is also contradictory. Halo CEA gets pass for nostalgia goggle.
Halo 4 has lost its core, yet it stagnated? WTH?
I admit some of his points are valid, but ultimately, they are buried by horrible writing and anology.
If call of duty gets a better review with him. Then we’ll know exactly why he rated it so low.
