Really? Is this what our fine community has degraded into? A whiny fest of insults and fighting? Come on people lets be mature about this. I’m disappointed as well but I’m not going around shouting I told you so or WTF 343 you lie! Lets be civil.

I’m just as disappointed as many of you guys, but let’s face it, they told us early on there will be no trailer. I still had hope but I’m not blaming 343. As for Halo 4 not winning most anticipated, ah well, Mass Effect 3 looks awesome. I have the collector’s edition for that already pre-ordered.
When we do finally get a trailer or new info, we’ll forget this ever happened. I’m catching up my readings on the books to keep me occupied until some new information surfaces.
I could care less what the idiots at the Spike VGA voting booth said about the video games of this year (and the future). They failed to nominate the best game of the year (Gears of War 3) and gave the award to broken -Yoink- Skyrim. I love Elder Scrolls and Skyrim, but Skyrim has it’s flaws and Gears of War 3 should have the title.
Anyway, Halo 4 lost because it belongs on a single console. While Mass Effect 3 (LOL) is multi-platform. Mass Effect is garbage compared to other triple A games. Not to say it’s bad, just nothing special.
I am disappointed that we did not win or see a trailer at the VGAs, but at least I had done my part by voting for Halo 4.
I guess I will just have to wait and see what 343i shows us us next year.

I’m hoping for at least SOMETHING before the end of the year but I’m not going to expect anything. The wait is tearing me apart XD

I couldn’t believe GOW 3 wasn’t nominated for best graphics. Am I the only person that likes Halo and Gears graphics better than any other game?
I’m disappointed they didn’t show anything but that makes the wait even better Halo 4 FTW!

Does anyone else think that the VGA voting is just rigged?
I mean, the majority of online users on these websites loath call of duty, so I’m a little surprised as to how that won goty. And the Halo fanbase is much larger than the ME community, so it surprised me that it won most anticipated.
Oh, well. At least I voted a butt-load of times.
But there are like no game shows till 2012, first one is CES, doubt it will show then. Prob at GDC
I think 343 purposely didn’t release a trailer at VGA. Halo games are the only games that kill me while waiting for them to come out. I think they delayed it so it would build up more anticipation for the game.

I’m not upset they didn’t release a trailer. I say keep the hype train rolling. This game going to be crazy. To all the people that are angry, it’s going to be worth the wait.
But we have to remember that delaying any kind of information too long may end up being detrimental to them. If this really is their marketing plan, they have to be really careful with it.
Yea, all they have to do is just keep feeding us small teasers and many will be hooked

Remember when the creative director on the game quit because he said it had become a “crazy expedition”? Yeah that made that the wait even harder.
