Hype is good. But there needs to be a balance and 343 are just not creating enough hype. Tbh if someone said right now do you want ME3 or Halo 4 I would say ME3 because I’m hyped for it.

You obviously have never played either of the Mass Effect games so try to keep invalid imaginary opinions to yourself. Or better yet, if it does win GOTY next year, keep that promise you just made.

Dude, you’re certifiably nuts. This forum is proof of how much hype already exists for H4. These people are working their butts off behind the scenes to make the best possible experience for people like you, and THIS is how you respond over not having a trailer on the VGAs of all things? I’d rather see one at a REAL event for the industry, rather than that cash-in nonsense. Dial it down and wait. If you can’t well, bye.

Halo doesn’t really need a huge event to launch a trailer. Their main audience are core gamers who play on XBL, so all they really would have to do is splash it on the front page of Live and every game site out there would also cover it. Advertise smarter, not harder. Any kind of big push for mainstream would have to be done much closer to launch to matter.

Everyone was hyped for a trailer and there was nothing, they should used this time and gave away a tiny bit of info, even like a picture of one new weapon and vehicle, or like another concept art trailer but nooooo 343 don’t take opportunities.

I played the first one completely & it did not meet MY taste in video games. I watched gameplay videos of part 2 on youtube when I had my doubts of buying it & still didn’t like it. So please, judge people wisely.

They’ll need to advertise better than that, they need to get the word out that Halo 4 is being made.
