I wish there was a trailer, but I am not “crushed” or “disappointed”.
Mainly I am glad that Batman, and Portal 2 got a lot of awards. (Kudos to The Joker for Most Compelling Character.)

VGA is a event that has a perpose to give rewards not to give info about games. That they show a couple of trailers is just an extra. Let 343i own a real event like the GDC in march and pawn all the other developers.
I’ll say this much, 343 is getting a message from fans. Not saying it is going to be well heard or answered, but it’s pretty clear that people are upset (justified or not). Over 10 locked threads already. People want more information, that much is clear.

You sir, are wrong, a lot of fans are mad because they saw some little image in the VGA ad, which they connected some weird dots, and because of that image, and a statement of some random Spanish speaking woman, they grabbed onto the idea that there was going to be a Halo 4 trailer, and when people pointed out that one of the dudes at Spike, Frankie and one other guy at 343i said there was going to be no Halo 4 trailer, they said it wasn’t enough evidence to be true. But by all means, keep saying that 343i disappointed you people, the only disappointment I have is that most of the people on these forums didn’t listen to what 343i said, and came up with BS reasons why there was going to be a Halo 4 trailer.
343i doesn’t need to go to some convention to show a new trailer, Bungie didn’t, and neither should 343i, when 343i is ready, they will release a new trailer.
