We’ll see what happens. If we manage to beat ME3 I would be suprised to be honest. That game is hyped to the max and coming within a few months…H4 on the other hands: we know nothing about it and has about a year left to go…
Same goes for the “trailer”. Not expecting anything, just wait and see what happens. But it’s good to see the community step up, finally.

I voted Halo 4 before the voting closed. I got my group on b.net to also vote. I hope we win. Fingers crossed.
I didn’t just chose Halo 4 (multiple times for a number of days wink) because it’s my most beloved franchise on that list (Mass Effect is a close second), but also because I genuinely believe it deserves it. We have a good idea of how the games on that list will play, but Halo 4 is a mystery. To me, it’s not just about being the game you love the most, or how long you’ve waited (although 10 years for Diablo 3 can’t have been easy at all), but it’s also about ‘how will the game be designed, or how will it look, or sound; and so on’. Halo 4 is the start of a NEW trilogy, helmed by a NEW developer. It’s going to be different, but we don’t know how much. We have a twitter comment saying they’ve seen a trailer that ‘breaks molds’, or something to that effect. Fans are worried, nervous, but excited; and some are quite optimistic.
With talents who worked on renowned games being recruited by 343 the possibilities of new ideas, and a fresh take on the series, are exciting. It’s going to have a lot more focus on storytelling, and bleeding that into gameplay (there was an article that had the impression they were thinking about a Half-Life/Bioshock-esque experience), which sounds great.
It truly does deserve the award the most, imo.
PS I love you Mass Effect; and The Last Guardian, too.
Its either Diablo or Halo, my bet, Halo won. Maybe a Trailer with it? I can’t wait to see what happens

I voted for Halo 4 every day until the voting booth closed, I really hope that we will see a trailer there.
But if not, oh well, this still proves that the Halo Nation is as strong as ever before.
