:43 - :53 in that Halo 3 trailer have to be the greatest 10 seconds my eyes have ever seen. I remember drooling all over the computer when that trailer came out, but then again, I had a cardiac arrest when Halo 4’s trailer surfaced so…

I really hope it wins, because imo not only is this the most anticipated game next year, but the most anticipated of all Halo games, namely for those who are true fans and really know the lore and story behind Halo.

I was shown Halo CE When I was 8, and I played the first level but I liked the multiplayer more, the campaign for me was just too scary lol and then right after that I was shown Halo 2 (on the same day) so I played its multiplayer splitscreen for the remainder of the time. My family and my uncle would get together and split screen Halo 2 and one day we tried it with two consoles and 4 players.
A fateful trip to Gamestop would end with my uncle being curious enough to purchase a month of xbox LIVE. Soon I found out just how good people actually were. I only played online on a few occasions, but come 2007 I walked into his house and there was him, playing Halo 3. Before this day I had been playing 64 and Playstation and I dusted off the xbox and actually played through H2’s campaign (not really understanding the story to be honest, just enjoyed the gameplay and invisible arbiter levels), so I went and we all played multiplayer for a bit, when they left (i was staying the night and my parents left) me and my uncle played the campaign and collected skulls until he had to go to work. At this point I discovered how amazing theater mode was and forge. Oh how I loved forge. That’s what truly brought me back to Halo enough to actually notice the story and whatnot. I still didn’t quite grasp everything but at this point I was 12 haha. I’d been playing Perfect Dark on XBL and Timesplitters 3 offline for level building and whatnot, it was very creative and had fun “cheats” and quirks like cardboard people and slow motion deaths. I liked the story of it.
By the time I had my hands on Forge World I was in love. I got a 360 for chrismas (well the family did and I got a personal one for my birthday) and I began really playing online and getting better. Prior to ODST’s release I went through and played all of the games, split screen, in order. I’ve gone over the story again since then but to be honest, Halo 3 was really my first Halo game. It was the first one I truly appreciated because I was there with it from start to finish. It was there the first time I tried COD and ended up liking it, but I have and always will prioritize halo over every other game. Skyrim released, MW3 released, Battlefield, and yet, I wanted to relive that Halo story and get a bunch of new maps to add to my experience. I love Halo and I’ve enjoyed Reach, but I’m looking forward to getting back to the old mechanics. So far Halo Anniversary playlists have been good to me.
I’ve been waiting for Halo 4 ever since I finished 3, it’ll be 5 years then. I’ve been waiting:)

Of course Halo 4 might flop but so far we have nothing to judge the game off,Bioshock Infinite however has alot of gameplay out and it appears as if it’s destroying everything that made bioshock a great game.
