Halo 4:Gametypes Wishlist

So i Made a list of what Gametypes i want to return and some new Gametypes

Here is the list

(New Gametypes)

Last Man Standing

Everyone have 1 life and the one that survived win the round you win points by making kills and survive

Team Last man Standing

Everyone have 1 life kill all opponents and if your team survives your team wins the round

Escort

Escort the Leader of your team to a Base to win round Leader have 1 life so if he got killed you will lose the round

Destroy The Building

Every Team has a building to protect the team that bombed or hacked a important building wins

Dual Tag

2 Players got 1 life
They need to finish objectives and kill opponents to get points
if the 2 players got killed it switch to other 2 player
the 2 players with most points win

Warfare

One Team must conquer Frontlines by doing objectives and another team must protect the frontlines

and one team are the Rebels that Tries to get points by killing their enemies

if a player from another team get killed by a rebel it can’t spawn anymore

Rebels got 1 life

Space Battle

Every Team Have a 1 or 2 Spacestation they only Spawn in their spacestation

Every Team must Protect and Destroy a Opposing Team Spacestation

The One Team that Destroyed all opposing team Spacestation wins

Find The Flag

Flags are Hidden in the map

The Team that found the most Flags wins

Capture The Player

One Team must Capture a Player from another team to their base

The Player that needs to be captured only got a Pistol

Another Team must protect the player that needs to be captured

When Player got Captured it can’t move and is being held by the player that capturing him to the base

You Capture the player by pressing a button(Action Button)

What do you think about it ??

I only really like the last man standing gametypes you mentioned. Kind of have a Gears of War feel to it. Don’t know if it would be in matchmaking that often, since I would personally not play it, but it sounds like a good idea.

Capture the player just sounds weird though. It wouldn’t be very fun being a player that can’t move.

To elaborate on your Escort mode. I think they should just bring back VIP and make it a variant. Make it like King of the Hill, and the only person that can collect points from the hill is the VIP. its pretty much what you said. The team tries to keep their man alive while he scores points and the other team tries to sstop them/ have there leader score points.

The VIP mode was held back in Halo 3. If expanded in Halo 4, you can do cool things like what i said.

I also wanna see a generator mode come in. And not like in the beta, it can fit perfectly in to the universe. Each team has a generator they have to defend. It is a balance of both trying to defend your generator from being destroyed, while trying to destroy the other teams generator. It can be interesting because generaors can be damaged from a far, so you can’t just camp the generator room.

generators work like in Reach, you can lock them down, and then they have to cooldown etc. It will fit perfectly in to the objective Halo gameplay. While assault has you taking a bomb and planting it in the enemy base, CTF has you taking the enemy flag and returning it to your base, generators has you trying to destroy the enemy base. It can get pretty intense if both generators have low health, and you know that a sudden surge from either team can win it. But do you risk sending in your team at the risk of leaving your generator defensless? I think it would fit perfectly. And obviously it would have different variants like all the other Halo gamemodes.

Generator defense: Like the reach beta. A team protects 3 generators and the other destroys them, then they switch sides.

And obviously people can do cool things with the generators. Think of the possibilities. In invasion, instead of just sitting in an are for 20 seconds. What if for a certain wave you had to blow up 2 generators to get a shield door open.

So in halo 4 you can bring VIP back, and introduce officially a generators gametype ( not a final name, but it would work)

Also about the live based modes you mentioned. They can already be created through slayer variants. Just set the lives to what you want it to be.

I’d like to see a built in Snipers gametype. Reach had SWAT built in, but no Snipers.

Last Man Standing you can do already by setting lives and rounds in custom games.

Find the Flag sounds a lot like Stockpile…

Dual Tag, Warfare, Space Battle, and Capture the Player sound stupid, no offense. Good thinking, but we have these already.

lol, it really isn’t hard to make it yourself… just save it as snipers.

or just download it from your temporary files after playing it in MM

Classic Slayer (team or FFA) -Sprint ON and/or OFF-

So much fun, simple and gets me playing for months!

i liked the escort idea. get a team mate from point a - b without him diying

I’ve wanted this back for so long. It would be cool to include this as a gametype that comes up in Reach.

MLG is a playlist not Gametype

Your right about last man standing but i think they should add it to matchmaking
