Hello!

I am a long time lurker and and this will be my first post of hopefully many to come, so please read and give me any feed back or comment if you’ve had the same problem.

So I have been presented with this problem for a while now and I have made it my mission to fix it. The problem is a lack of Halo friends on my x-box, not just people who play halo once in a blue moon, but people who see halo as a passion just like me. Ive tried and went on match-making to find people who see this franchise, this universe, as i do but it is a long and enduring process that usually does not work out in favor of anyone.

This Post is to let halo fans, including myself, look no longer for such people. The ultimate goal of this is so we have a network of Waypointers, A huge team, intertwined with one another where we can get together, talk, and play Halo 4.

This is for all halo games but ultimately it is specific to Halo 4. I want to be able to get my copy of Halo 4 at midnight, come home, and see my friends list lit up with waypointers and halo fans, all playing halo 4. I want to see my roster filled up and over flowing. Custom games left and right, Campaign lobby’s with lore lovers all over the place and forging lobby’s as well. Everyone just having a good Halo experienced time. And i know I’m not the only one.

So please contribute to this thread, If you are a person who loves the aspects of the Halo universe and will be getting Halo 4, post your Gamer-tag. Halo is a passion that is funner when shared, explored, and talked about and i certainly hope you feel the same.

I’ll update the post every day with new people who will be experiencing Halo 4 every day. I’ll go first, but i will give some info about myself as well(You don’t have to do this this if you don’t want to) I am sixteen, almost seventeen and i have been an avid halo fan since i was 10. It started with Halo 1 in 2006 and i eventually bought Halo 2. From then on i knew i loved Halo and became strongly engrossed with the story including novels. Got a 360 and from then on its history.

Well I really like this idea of yours. I have been playing halo since I was 6 and have followed all of them and their fiction my whole life, but sadly I have no x-box of my own so I can’t be a part of your waypoint web. Although I think it would be a good idea to add a pc halo section to this network, seeing as most of the people on these forums seem to have pc versions.

It’s a nice idea, you might try the recruiting forum as most likely moderators will move your thread there anyhow.

You may also like to add “region” like country or state to your gamertags. Many players only play with friends from their local area for game quality reasons or to get host selection.

For example I’m from Australia and I try to only play with fellow Aussies for game quality reasons.

OP, if this thread stays in the Halo 4 section, it will probably get buried underneath mountains of discussion about the game itself. I’ll move it to Recruiting, which is the section we recommend going to in order to look for people to hang with – whether you want to start one custom lobby, find friends for several, join a clan, whatever.

I don’t know just how well this kind of thread will do in Recruiting, but I like the idea. Hope it takes off. :slight_smile:

Oh, and one good way to meet fellow Waypointers in person is to attend community nights. Members often host their own community nights – just a few minutes ago, I noticed a thread for a Halo 2 Vista gathering – and there are also official community nights that 343i employees participate in.

Ah recruiting, it takes me back to the days of Halo 2.

I made so many friends thanks to the clan system, and made many (fun an jokingly) enemy and rival clans along the way. So much fun was involved in training within the clans I were in, and even more fun I daresay creating matches where we would fight against opposing and rival clans.

I yearn for the day a Halo game will bring back the Clan System. I made so many good friends and I know others did as well.

I would be honored to join you, mate. Im from the US. I acknowledge that halo 4 will be much more team based, and I would actually like to get a tactical team with decent communication coming up. Those teams are always the best teams. I’m having the same trouble with my friends as you are. hit me up and we can play anytime

hey, im in bro. as you all see im new to waypoint, but i plan to be much more active. Ive played halo for quite some time on and off, ten times better than COD(overall). Im pretty damn good at the game, ive always averaged better than a 1.8 k/d ratio in every Halo. Any who i want to join your cause…

Been playing for years, but I’ve been more inclined towards Campaign than multiplayer. I’d like give multiplayer a try with the right teammates and hopefully improve along the way. Am looking forward to taking paid time off from work to play some Halo 4!

This is what i have been waiting for sign me up, play for hours everyday and it would be good to join/start a team. played a little of the other halo’s but nowhere near as much as 4 its epic didn’t no about k/d at the start so i just broke even around 8,000.

Can we work something out I’ve been playing halo4 for a while now and it gets annoying not havin a full team but I play with my brother who is 11 and we don’t like the same game types so I am looking for some people too

I also am looking for people to play Halo 4 with too. I’m a Canadian gamer that plays a lot of video games but in variety of games. I like to play a lot of the game types and custom games out there that I haven’t tried yet. Hopefully you guys can show me the ways since I am making an effort to actually try to get a friend people on my list.

Anyone that wants to can add me. Clayi3orne is my GT and i play daily and have a 1.7 kd. Not to high but i play objectives and go for the win.
