Hi,
I received an email from xbox/halo 4 yesterday notifying me I received a free halo 4 gift. When I activated this free code, I mistakenly did it under an account that nobody uses. I was wonder if we could somehow transfer this code to the account that I do use. I did call xbox support and in the end they transferred me over to you because this is a halo generated code, thus they have no control over an issue like this. Please let me know if there is anything we can do.

Short answer: there’s nothing you can do. You basically just screwed yourself out of the unlock if you used it on a profile you don’t play H4 with or use. Why you’d do that to begin with is beyond me.
What happens now though? Well, you can either try pleading your case to one of the 343 employees, such as BS Angel, or you wait until the specialisations are unlocked for everyone who plays H4, which could still be a month or more away. Or, you start using the profile you squandered the unlock on.

Sig in with this unused account of yours on the console you use. Then just download the DLC and go back to the old account and voi lá!

All DLC for Halo 4 has been profile specific, so I highly doubt he could get away with using the specialisations console wide.
License transfer the download.
How do you move it from one GamerTag to the other?
I do recognize this is my fault. But a mistake nonetheless.
How exactly do I do the license transfer? Will try all the suggestions. All equally worth a shot.

Figured out what to do. Still royally f-ed over. Does anyone know when the specializations will be available for everyone?
