I was concerned about the frame rate of Halo 4
Why does it take about a second to shoot your weapon, is this normal?

Is this also in single player,
Cause this happens a lot in spartan ops multi player and campain online
No, not normal. If your online you may be having a laggy match (though other signs such as rubber banding should be evidedent). If your offline, your hardware may be having trouble.
If you think its lag, try to reset your router/modem and try again. If you are getting it in single player, you may need to call 1-800-4-MY-XBOX or xbox.com/.ca/.co.uk depending on region.
Well I only play war games in multiplayer. This does seem maybe the frame rate is low, I wasn’t sure and finally made an account to clear this up.
Just seems slowish to me like when I come into shoot it is slowed down and takes like a second to shoot like it’s delayed cause the graphics are so well idk.
343i, could clear this up or maybe a possible patch to fix the frame rate lag of the shooting should be more faster in my opinion.
Installing both disks might help if you haven’t already.
@xXx Orange,
I didn’t yet install both disks but, I did get the installation to play the online multiplayer in war games. It was about a 2GB download.
You think that’ll really fix the sluggish-slow downed frame rate shots and be more on point instead of the delayed shots. I shoot the trigger and ABOUT second it finally shoots kinda hurts the fun of the game when this game is a quick paste game you feel me?

What kind of TV do you have? if it’s not a old analog TV then it’s possible that your refresh rate is long, causing lag. I can’t play Street Fighter very well over my cousins place because of the delay with his TV.
I have a 32" inch LG HDTV 1080P (60GHZ).
Still think the 60GHz should still be reasonable?

My bad, I meant response time.
if it’s anything bigger than 4ms, then you’ll have serious lag issues.

Not response time. Response time is the time it takes from a single pixel to change color. High response times cause ghosting, not lag. Input lag is the reason behind lag. Some modern TVs with lots of image post-processing can have very high input lag times, even as high as 100 milliseconds. Taking your signal through VGA instead of HDMI could fix it if it’s input lag. Either that, or bying a new TV.
P.S. You probably meant Hz and not GHz as 60 Hz is the standard frequency on most TVs.
Thanks for the help though guys preciate it.
I’m trying to look on the specs of my tv for “ms” I am not fiding it.
I can’t find it at this point even on the name brands site, but im guessing it’s probably between 2-4 is my guess.
I do use a HMDI wire it gives out really good clean and clear picture. Doesn’t help maybe the slowed down gameplay of the (shooting) it seems to be. It’s slightly delayed.
If it’s difficult to find the ms, then it’s likely not very good. TV companies like to advertise that type of thing, so I always find it suspect when they don’t even mention it.

Thank you!
I’m really glad you showed up with the break down. I appreciate it.
Games almost comes to a halt on some BTB games. I’m surprised my 360 hasn’t exploded yet.
using wireless controller gives u a disadvantage

while the wired controller can make your Xbox melt.
360 hates USB.
