hello guys. i searched about this topic of tv show couldnt find it so i post it here instead… anyways, i wasnt very happy at all because they didnt add the subtitles? are they that ignorance, disrespecting to deaf people? im deaf as well. i’m hoping there is only a way for those admins to see this and info about this. i thought they knows better than that… i feel like they dont care about deaf gamers, people. please add subtitles for deaf gamers. there is a facebook page where deaf gamers unite. deaf members over 1,261 and counting.
Forward unto Dawn will be released on Bluray on December 4th, which will likely support subtitles for dead deaf people.
The upload from Machinima was controlled completely by them and it was up to them entirely if they wanted to add subtitle support which is offered by Google on YouTube, not at the fault of 343.
Halo Waypoint itself doesn’t have a subtitle feature and never has to this date.

eh eh well ur mostly right, but still THEY know better than that. that still is ignorance even tho they agreed with other company and yet those companies like youtube.com, and such workin on with subtitles… they are wasting horribly time for all of us deaf people, still waiting. where is the fairness? and release on “blueray” what about normal dvd? and dec 4th? are u frickin kidding me? we dont want to wait. we want to watch it before halo 4 release. -Yoink- it people.

I understand your frustration, but please don’t be so grumpy about it, swearing will not get you anywhere, nor will that attitude you are showing.

Yeah, I found myself have same experince of squaguna. I was so excited to watch action live movie, I was looking forward for it. Suddenly, there’s no support service, that’s great disappointed me. I am not try be grumpy, but I seriously want to say to your face, try watch the whole movie without audio on. You will feel same way of us (deaf people.) We missed a lot informations by simply dialoged. I wonder if any chance of you, worker of 343 studio or admin, can make request to Machinima add support subtitle? I found myself love their videos, seem humor so much to me, I am curious about it. Also, I want thank you 343 studio for add the subtitles in Halo CE in entirely gameplay. So, I hope you will still do same thing in Halo 4 and next movies too.

i know hopes doesnt works that way or often, but i’m hoping now no matter what. i hope they put subtitles on it asap. it’d be real bummer after the dvd released… idk? we shall see.

I think it is still the fault of 343 that machinima & halo waypoint do not allow for subtitles to show. It is really their responsibility to ensure that their shows are being broadcasted as intended. By accepting what halo waypoint & machinima has is showing that they do not care if deaf fans do not watch, “they can watch when it comes out on dvd”. However, what I really do not understand is machinima DOES have the subtitles option! They only enable it AFTER a week of release of Forward Unto Dawn episodes. Why do they allow the subtitles to work 1 week after release??? Why punish deaf fans? It makes no sense at all. Call me grumpy, but you will be feeling the same way if you don’t get to enjoy something you love.
