Why the hell did you put it all into one damn thread for, it ruins the entire damn point of it.
Why not create a separate forum for it, screw putting it all into one place, it ruins the discussion of the show.
It’s a series, I don’t want to know what other people think of the show, I want to ‘discuss’ it and individual elements.
Congratulations mods for ruining the show for this forum. Stop locking every thread about it and squashing it with the main thread(Which sucks might I add, it’s not even a good thread);
Sure lock all the threads that ask for other people’s thought of it but DON’T LOCK the ones discussing what is going on and plot elements and how they may relate to Halo lore even.

No it doesn’t, I want to discuss what goes in on the show, I’m not asking for other people’s thoughts on it, we only need the mega thread for that.
And if the mods are so paranoid then make a separate forum for it.
What else is there to discuss anyways about Halo 4? Nothing, the game is released in near 3 weeks.
Were you here earlier, around E3 and stuff? There was a new thread about the same thing every 5 minutes.
Condensing them into one thread not only reduces spam (luckily) but also makes it easier to locate the main discussion. I’d rather have a big thread instead of a hundred threads about the exact same thing.

Isn’t discussing something the same thing as listening to other people’s thoughts?

Wait, you’re telling me that condensing all the threads into a general topic doesn’t reduce spam as much as a hundred similar threads?
If you want to discuss the lore and plot, thats what the Universe forum is for. Like it or not, Waypoint needs to cut down on the spam that has been rampant more than a few times. This is how they do it.
Besides, questioning moderator decisions in a thread is against the rules. For concerns or comments regarding moderator behavior, message the administrators (bs angel) or one or some of the moderating staff.

It does not reduce spam because there won’t be spam in the first place. Theory threads about the show and individual elements should not be shoved into the crappy mega thread which is just people’s thoughts on the show.
AT LEAST make a mega thread for each episode of the series. I would be content with that.

This happens alot.
Every Wensday - Tons of threads in the Halo 4 forum board asking about when the bulletin is going to be up.
Every bulletin - Tons of threads pop up to talk about the bulletin
E3 - tons of threads pop up to talk about each and every little thing that was announced.
PAX - same thing
VAGS- TONS OF THREADS ABOUT HALO 4 BEING SHOWN AT VAGS.
OP, I hope you get the picture here.
It would be nice if there was a sub forum board/child board in the Halo 4 forum board just for Forward Unto Dawn related things, but last time I took up the child board topic up with BS Angel I got no reply back from her.
For now, Mega threads will be for all things related to what ever the mega thread is for. Sorry, but it’s better than having 5 pages of CTF, Ranks, BR, Flood, and complaints with each person having their very own thread, and not a lot of people talking to each other, or getting the right information.

There probably will be a main thread for each episode.
You’re telling me a hundred similar threads is not spam? After surviving E3 and all the other events, any type of spam is not warmly greeted. This included.
And Forward Unto Dawn would likely belong mostly in the Universe forum. It doesn’t directly invlove Halo 4 (besides the characters), which goes best with the Universe forum for discussing any and all Halo lore.
Howbout you make your own free web forum for it, then advertise it in the community creations section. instead of wasting everyones time maybe do something productive perhaps?

People’s thoughts on if the show is good is different to peoples theories and speculations.
