So has Chief gotten another redesign in Halo 4 or is this when he had Mark IV?

For those who don’t know this is a picture that was released when they announced the webisode series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.

Frankie said it takes place about 25 years before halo 1-4

Its a live action film they can do whatever they want pretty much. BUT its based before halo 4 so his armour makes sense.

This is a much earlier version of his armor, before Halo Reach even.

Then it’s probably the MJOLNIR Mark. IV, not the VI.

Yeah, that’s definitely the Legends Armor. You can see the Shoulders are the exact same, even then back and whatnot. Interesting. The Webisodes will be shown on Halo Waypoint as well, starts about 5 weeks before Halo 4’s release with a new episode each week.

They based it off the Halo legends MK IV, which is unfortunate because that was based entirely off the MK VI. It’s almost a direct copy. Which is unfortunate, because MK IV is not MK VI, and should not look like it.

His hips are at an angle, whereas his shoulders are more or less straight.

Point being, it’s hard to judge how “skinny” his torso really is in this pic.
