Any way to search these forums?
At the moment there is not.
Is the only way to search on the forums to force a brute-force search through a google engine?
I doubt that the forum host would like that…
You are more than welcome to search the forums via your favorite search engine. For both Bing and Google, just start your search with,
site: forums.halowaypoint.com your search terms here
For example
site: forums.halowaypoint.com Halo 4 Maps
This will limit the search to the forums. The same works for blogs.halowaypoint.com.
We are hoping to have search back soon, but in the meantime, this does work pretty well.
