Halo 4 Forge World

I’ve been a halo fanatic since i was in kindergarten and when forge was brought in i went crazy making maps, then when forge world was put in halo reach, it was glorious. but after awhile the color scheme and forerunner structures got very repetitive, not for custom games but in matchmaking. so in halo 4 i wonder if you guys and gals could make it so on a new forge world we could spawn human and UNSC structures, covenant structures and forerunner structures and make an option for the object to be destroyed.

also to have the ability to forge pelicans covey drop ships and maybe even some forerunner vehicles and the covenant vehicles from halo 2 (spectre and the shadow) and some civilian vehicles too. i don’t know if this is possible but to spawn dead bodies?

i know it sounds like a lot but even just one of the new features i listed would be nice. i think most forgers would agree.

Yes i agree. i love forging too and ive made heaps of stuff but now im just bored with it all. we need something new to build with. new vehicles, structures and more…

YES all those things are good the dead bodys would make maps look more alive and larger non drivable vehicles would also make maps look better and the option of different colors for blocks like wood stone etc… also if you make map packs for halo 4 make new forge objects for each map pack so more people would want them after

I’d rather have a forge room than a forge world. By which I mean no lumpy assymetrical terrain. The forger shouldn’t have to adapt to the map, that immediatly puts limitations to it.

you have the colloseum in forge world… thats a small room

I know my suggestion won’t happen but I figured it would be really cool.

I suggest a terrain editor of sorts or maybe terrain options. Let’s say that you want a flat terrain, use a tool that would flatten any holes or small hills in an area. Then when you build your base on it, make a “moat” around it as well. The option of water; to make bigger puddles or small streams. It doesn’t have to be running water but that would be nice too.

Weather effects like rain, shine, snow, overcast. ect. Or time of day. Nothing to dark though. Lighting that affected shadows of buildings and such (or at least believable shadows…)

Animated objects. nothing TOO big. framerate would be hell with abuse from this I bet… Maybe a small radio dish that spins. Some background objects you could place, like pelicans flying in the background, and you can map out which way they fly.

…I know, I know. I asking for WAY to much, but a map could be cool for atmosphere too :stuck_out_tongue:

But all your suggestions are really good :slight_smile: Especially the dead bodies. That would add an eery tone to those zombie maps especially. I think a bit of blood…“panels” would be cool to use with that too.

i agree with the terain editor. sometimes i wish i can make a pit or something like that but the only way to doit is by like making a pit out of rocks and making the main level floor higher, know what i mean…

one thing i would like to see is them make the cordinate heights the same becauase i make big buildings and when i make the final wall it wont be the same height as the others even when i put it as the same cordinate

I agree, dead bodies would add a feel of history to each map. I also think that there should be themes to each object. There could be an option to make it look human, forunner, covy, flood, or overgrown etc.

I also think it would be a good idea to have special effects which influence the terrain and backdrop as well as the colour of the map. It could overide/ replace SFX and would change the face of the map entirely.

All I ask of halo 4’s forge world, is.

No gray… For the love of god no grey.

We want some color.

That’s also part of being creative. You have to learn to adapt.

I would like to see the Halo 4 Forge have the Ability to buy Enemies or marines . You could set them to be friendly or hostile . I would also like to have the Ability to use them to forge your own [mini campaign ]. So imagine being able to play with 16 of your friends in a 8 v 8 slayer while having Marines or enemies helping you .I believe These firefights would be a great addition to the Halo 4 forge .

I thought about this for a while and what I would love to see is a HEK like in CE PC, but I believe it is impossible to do with Microsofts rules etc. So what would be really cool is if their was an option which allowed you to take your item and change the theme of them so for example, you have Forruner objects like in Reach you press the xbox and go down to theme. Then you slide it over to Human and its a human wall like on Foundary or you go to Covenant and it’s a purple wall. That I think would be cool and add variety.

Also I don’t really care for a giant forge world again. What I would rather see is maybe three maps the size of the canyon in forgeworld all the way to the beach including the top of the canyon. So three forgeable maps the size of that with different themes.
1.City
2.Snowy
3.Desert, Reach Forgeworld look

That is what I would like to see for forge.

I would like ‘skins’, so the objects are the same, but the look is different, i.e. UNSC, Covy or Forerunner

The new Forgeworld needs different biomes along with large, flat terrain. Give us a plethora of locations just like in Reach’s, but don’t restrict us either. Bigger is always better.
