I think that they should create moving pieces like the windmill from Last Resort from Halo 2, or pieces that can be changed by activating a switch like the gates from the base.
I also think they should change the spawn time option from seconds like 180 = 3 min to 0:00 so you could create better times so you don’t need to calculate when pieces would spawn.
i always thought it would be cool to have a few AIs running around like those little flood on halo 3’s cold storage. Could be something to put in forge
I think what you mean you want included overall is the ability to write Macros.
It could be possible, and it would kill two birds with one stone really, because it would allow people to create proper elevators, moving walkways, and doors. Although this wouldn’t be used in Matchmaking too much, it would be very good for experienced Forgers.
It would also be nice to be able to build from the ground up for the highly experienced forger.
Being able to chose what texture you could build in.
examples
Space - stars and planets surrounding u with a super large grid to show where the ends are for building, basiclly just a background sphere surrounding u for a space feeling.
Desert - endless sand in all directions with a sun high in an orange looking sky with a large flat area, you could build traps such as sink holes by placing them in the sand with the ability to clear already placed ground like a dig or mining option.
Snow - whatever things u place gather snow on exposed upper areas that you could possibly stand on. and have the option to place water that would freeze after seconds of exposure or place ice.
Ocean - endless ocean in all directions that u would be able to choose what the island would look like. or a option that allows maybe 4 or 5 land masses to choose from that u could play invasion or territories that u could invade a controlled island. or build things like oil rigs or ships.
As long as there is a possibilities, forgers will use their imagination.
Also, when forging, i find that pieces tend to snap out of place when i want to place an object. i don’t like having to move an object little by little with the snap off but i don’t like when the piece just won’t go to my desired angle. the pieces could have an axis that changes when u let go so u could use the snap from there but with the option to change it so it doesn’t interfere with other forgers.
I think they should create weather and hazards, weather like snow rain, and maybe sandstorms that would match deserts.
They could be set like the kill zones and object radious, anything outside the radious would be clear but u could see the difference other than just walking in and it starts.
Hazards could be like thunder and lightning, lightning could strike you and eliminate your shield and kill you if they are already out.
What I’d like to see is more things to interact with placeable with forge. The first thing that pops into my mind was the door/window opening switch from Standoff back in Halo 3. Stuff like buttons corresponding to doors that would open or a bridge that would extend would make for awesome maps.
i would like to see a pelican for once thats just like a normal vehicle you can spawn ive been wanting that since halo combat evolved. the easter egg in reach was pretty cool i guess

Having ai in forge world would be a cool idea but what if you could control them such as an rts game, setting waypoints for the ai so you can guide them and ultimately joining the battle as first person with your friends or not or you could have a large scale battle with ai controled vehicles and the flood(if there is going to be flood in it).
More maps where you can spawn covenant equipment(i.e. covenant camping stools, radio anttenae). In the previous Halo’s the few maps you could spawn these things were too small or didn’t make sense.Like why would there be a covenant radio antenna inside a covenant ship?!

Maybe, but only offline, xbox live multiplayer has enough lag already.
I would love fire fight forge. Another one of the things I would love is placing frigates or corvettes on a map. It would be really cool right! The last thing is editable sky boxes and different textures for forge world.
how about forgeable firefghit maps? with forgeable spawns for enemies ordnance and vehicles as well as being about to do whatever you want with map geometry, like a forge world for firefight map forging
Upon using the search filter, this looks like the best topic to post in.
I’d like to see some types of EMP and/or gravity pylons added in. Multiple settings on how they operate, ie proximity activation, constant on or timed pulsed intervals. Range of course of adjustable.
The EMP is pretty obvious me thinks. Very similar to Halo3’s EMP in function and even look but created from a stationary device that is “integrated” into the map.
The gravity pylons can be set on pull or push and can be adjusted similarly to the EMP for activation and range.
