Halo 4 Forge Map: Monolith

Good news everyone! I have created my first forge map, Monolith! The map is designed for 4v4 slayer or CTF gametypes. I haven’t been able to sufficiently test the map because I don’t know enough people with copies of the game (Christmas time is brutal until, well, Christmas), but I am hoping I can get some feedback from the community so I can make modifications.

The map is available on my file share. My gamertag is C0PPERP0T (with zeroes).

A few details about the map:

  • There are a lot of branching paths and multiple tiers to the map, but everything is fairly condensed to make navigation quick and easy.

  • Even the open areas have plenty of cover and line-of-sight obstructions to prevent one-sided encounters. This stage is designed to prevent distinct weapon advantages.

  • The map is slightly/hardly/barely asymmetrical. While the two bases and main building are mirrored, the walkways on the exterior of the main building vary slightly. Blue base has a standard walkway. Red base has a natural/stone walkway. This may lead to variations in how each side is played.
