I’d really appreciate it when I’m creating a map in forge and it tells me that my variant is not compatible with my map that it explains to me WHY it cannot use my map with the selected variant. It would REALLY help me. I could actually fix the issue.
Telling us what gametypes your map is not compatible with would help a bit.
Want to create a map with a single stationary hill that encompasses a large portion of the map or the entire map. Sounds pointless but I have a specific purpose for this map.
I’ve done it using the existing hills. Just modified all of them to be as large as possible. However it was not possible when deleting all hill markers and placing a single (or multiple) hill markers and making them max size.
Also I didn’t provide that originally because I wasn’t expecting people to fix it for me. My intent was to offer that 343 should be more specific when saying that the map isn’t compatible with the game type. It should tell you what’s causing the incompatibility. It’s not always obvious.
